Pachebel Canon in D. The processional before my Dad and I will be a piano cover of Elvis’ I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You. It’s my mum’s favourite and its beautiful on the piano.
People will probably think I’m crazy…I’m getting married on Ohio State’s campus, and I want my entrance to be to Carmen Ohio (alma mater).
ETA: I’m secretly hoping that my OSU alumni guests will put their arms around the people next to them and start swaying side to side, as is tradition.
Mine was from the movie The Wedding Singer! ‘Grow Old With You’ – it was sung by a friend and played on his acoustic guitar 🙂
I’ll be walking down to Canon in D. My Pastor doesn’t allow the bride to walk down to “Here Comes the Bride.” At first I was crushed because that’s all I really knew but once I started looking over her list, I fell in love with Canon in D and am so happy I found it! I have a very short aisle so I will be using just the one song for the whole processional.
I walked down the aisle to I’m Yours/Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Straight No Chaser.
Our string trio is paying Canon in D (: So beautiful!
Canon in D!
It was VSQ version of Wonderful tonight – my husband’s pick!
Not sure yet, but considering Meiko – Stuck on You. I think we’ll walk out to Happy by Pharrell 🙂
walking in to Ho Hey by The Lumineers – out to Sons and Daughters by The Decemberists
I always thought I was going to have a more traditional entrance song, but I heard Hunter Hayes’ Wanted on the radio and immediately started crying because it made me think of us. I called DH and told him to listen and he agreed. 🙂
my uncle played the guitar and sang it for us. And he hates country. haha
My bridal party is walking in to Somewhere Over The Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, I’m walking down to the instrumental version of 1000 Years by Christina Perri and we are walking back down to All You Need Is Love by The Beatles 🙂
