@LYBYANA: You’ll have more luck with this if you add a poll

We don’t have our budget set in stone but we were thinking about $15,000. All of this will be paid in cash, we are not going into debt for the wedding.

@R.Elliott: that does not include my engagement ring, or the honeymoon.

We can’t afford a honeymoon.

our budget started at $15k. now it is $20k. 120 people in waterfront/downtown seattle.

oh yeah – this doesnt include a honeymoon or my e-ring.

but our costs are projected to be $23k… so, i either need to cut costs or find a “money tree”

🙂

I don’t think there really is a “typical” wedding budget. There are extremes from less than $100 to over $100,000 and people anywhere in between that. It’s very individual depending on couples finances, family help, style, etc. And in addition what everyone includes in their budget is completely different. While some include honeymoon, rings, pictures, etc some only include the cost of that one day.

We dont have a budget really per say! But we are only doing with what we can save up! We arent taking loans, or borrowing money or asking for any contributions! NO DEBT!

We’re looking at about $15,000 including Honeymoon and rings.

ETA: And we’re not going into a penny of debt. We don’t believe in entering marriage with unnecessary debt.

10K for 60 to 80 guests. Fiance and I are each contributing half, in cash…no debt for a wedding for us. That includes everything except rings, wedding clothing and accessories, and the honeymoon.

10K is our absolute upper limit that we are willing to spend. Fiance has vowed to break out the red pen and one line some stuff is it looks like it’s going over. Right now we are hovering right around 7K.
