10,000 and I don’t want to go over it. Reading through this thread I realize just how little I am spending and how others are having a much grander affair than I am.

sparklies:  It’s really out of control. I do love it here but the cost of living is ridiculous! When will the wedding be? That price is do-able!

$20-$30k total. We’re most likely going to be at around $25k for everything and ~150 guests.

FYI we are having the wedding in British Columbia, Canada.

we wanted to keep it around 20k but, it was 75-80k.. our biggest spent was food and beverage.. We had a buffet style with lots of food..  Cocktail, appetizers, a big table filled with cheeses, cooked vegetable, more appetizers etc .. Dinner,  dessert table, coffee table, wedding cake, full open bar, plus wine and champagnE.

Im half Italian, we take food very  seriously.. 🙂

We spent about 35,000. Didn’t plan on it, as our original budget was 20,000. I still look back and simply cannot believe it lol

All in all (including dress, wedding bands) we will be spending 12k for 50 guests. Formal venue in NJ/Philadelphia suburbs. Videographer, live music/DJ. Splurged on the photographer, which will be 3k of the budget. We cut a lot of corners on the budget though, including me getting my dream dress second hand. We did a fair bit of negotiating and will be doing some diy too.

Getting married in Pennsylvania. Trying to keep it at $16,000 or under. Also trying to keep it at 75 guests.

Biggest expense the venue but it does include food and alcohol (all inclusive-ish). $11,000

    Photographer was a splurge.

DJ next highest expense. Totally no idea what I am doing with a dress. I want to keep it low budget.

I am doing my own invitations, and my own flower arrangements.

    • Wedding: March 2017

jubiebee:  right now we’re thinking February or March of next year, whenever the off season is 😀. It was a shock when we realized how much more expensive it is to live there. The area we are in now, FH owns a 3 bed 2 bath 2000 sq ft home (it’s only 3 years old) in a gated community & its maybe $1200 a month, so we will be downgrading and downsizing a lot haha!!

My guess is our wedding will probably cost around 30k total including EVERYTHING. My Dad is paying for a majority of it, future in laws paying for bridal shower. I’m thankful for the help. We’re having roughly 250 guests.

I’m in the under 5k section. We’re getting married at a local beach that doesn’t have a location fee. The officiant is only $200. I only have 1 person standing for me so that is only 1 other dress I need to buy other than my own. $650 for my photographer. Cake is being gifted by my brother and his wife (she makes cakes) and my parents are paying for food, and there is less than 100 guests. Save-The-Date Cards I got from Vistaprint and were less than $100 and there was an error on them, but instead of asking them to fix it, since it was minor, I asked for credit on the account which is enough to pay for the invites to get printed.

My hope was to stay under $5000 as time gets closer I’m hoping we will be under $10000.

We aren’t doing a honeymoon more of a family vacation with dd included. Flights were about $1500, accommodation will be about $900, then food and activities probably another $1500. So likely close to $4000. We are staying within canada.

We really didn’t keep as close of tabs on things as we should have, but I believe we ended up spending abour $23,000 for 150 guests. I’m in Manitoba, Canada.

$17000 was for the all inclusive reception. We probably could have done it a lot cheaper if we had gotten a hall, and found a caterer and gotten our own liquor permit. But I’m not the most organized, so the all inclusive was well worth the extra couple bucks to let someone else deal with those headaches.

Surrey (chapel) and Berkshire (reception) in England – We don’t have a set budget but i expect it will cost around £40k by the end (which is about 56/57k in USD?) for 120 ish guests.

The honeymoon budget (we are paying for this so there is a budget!) is max £5k. (7k USD ish)

Great thread.. interesting to see what things cost in different areas!
