http://www.mynameandhisname.com. I purchased the url because I thought it would look nicer than on the save the dates than the one provided by The Knot.

HappilyEver<his last name>.com

I bought the URL through minted when I had a coupon. It looked nice and tidy on our save the dates 🙂

We currently have weddingwire.com/hislastnamemylastname because nothing with our first names was available. I’m wondering if I should change it though because our last names aren’t the easiest to spell, but then something like weddingwire.com/julyinconcord would be tricky to remember. I don’t think I can really win here :/ Hopefully this thread gives me some ideas!

So I’m breaking the mold here- but mostly because I do marketing and branding for my job. We came up with hashtag for the wedding that helped explained to guests how to properly pronounce our future last name.

Since everything is over- I don’t care… #JoinTheJoineses. (Although I mucked up the wedding site regarding grammer and it’s just JoinTheJoines I think).

The “phrase” was everywhere.

Our wedding website (that was listed on our Save The Date and used in the photo) was this name. The hashtag was on that piece of word on the card.

The WedPics accounts and Instagram had this information too. Everything was consistent.

I even had our wedding website have a “photo” portion where it autopopulated photos anytime an Instagram photo used that hashtag. So as people were looking at the site for hotel information, they were able to see photos from the engagement and bridal shower and DIY projects….versus dated vacation photos of us. All about building excitment.

Think about this long and hard! While you can usually change the URL (at least with The Knot I believe)… I couldn’t change the information listed on the STD after it went out.

But at the wedding weekend (on site) everything was listed for our correct name.
