(Closed) What is YOUR workout routine? (And workout playlist?)

Lately I’ve just been playing racquetball with Fiance and it’s seriously kicking my butt.  Previously I was running 3 miles maybe 4-5 times per week, but playing an hour of racquetball every other day is having a much bigger effect so far.  It’s kind of like interval training and it works the arms so I guess that’s why?  I don’t know but it’s crazy fun so I’m not complaining.  Also I am winning 🙂  I like winning.

@sommertime:  Totally not workout related whatsoever, BUT I wanted to tell you that I got super excited when I saw your name. As a fellow moissy lover, I remember you, your ring, (and your goodbye post) and I was super glad to see that you’re back. Looking back through your recent posts, apparently you’ve been back for awhile and I just didn’t notice. 🙂 So a super belated welcome back to ya!

My gym routine has been somewhat non-existent lately. I got a REALLY nasty cold a few weeks back that seemed to last forever. Any time I put even a teeny bit of effort into anything I’d start coughing violently, like choking, gagging, nearly throwing upm turning purple coughing. I went to the Dr and it was just a bad cold, nothing more serious, but it makes it hard to work out!

I did Zumba 2X/wk (except for every 3rd week I’d have to miss the Saturday class because I work every 3rd Saturday). 3 days a week I’d run (Couch to 5K program) and usually after a run I’d do weights. I found a bunch of workouts on Pinterest and in Women’s Health magazine, wrote the ones I liked on index cards and keep them in a ziplock bag in my gym bag. If I know I have time to do a run and weights I’ll either grab a random card or look through them quick to find one I want to do.

My routine, is well, not routine anymore since I hurt my left shin. But anyway, I recently downloaded “That Power”, from Will.I.am and “Other Side” by Jason Derulo. I also like very inappropriate music when I am lifting by ASAP Rocky.
