I think I’ve found my perfect workout combo and I’d love to hear what other Bee’s do to reduce stress, get happy and burn off those pounds!
Spinning 2-4 x week (realistically, it’s 2-3 x week)
Pilates 1x week
Yoga 1x week (alternating with the Pilates)
I find the combination of high cardio with the spinning and the toning with the Pilates has been VERY successful! My legs are going to look ROCKING for the wedding!!!! The yoga is neccessary for stress reduction and bringing me back to my centre/zen.
What works for you????

I’m currently doing a bootcamp 3 times a week. I would love to get back into Pilates and Spinning but the free gyms I have access to don’t have classes at a time I could attend because of work.

Currently, it’s running/power walking 2-3 times a week, and Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred plus the Biggest Loser weight training video 2-3 times a week. I am also starting to do yoga 1 day a week. I need a combo of cardio and weights, but prefer the weight training. I hate running/sweating/heavy breathing! 🙂

I love spin but can’t afford to join a gym at anytime in the near future. Plus I find it easier doing it fron home. I jog and luckily Darling Husband bought a x-trainer before I met him so I use that too as I get bored doing only one type of exercise.

For the past 2 weeks this has been my schedule. I feel like I haven’t lost any weight!!!
Running or biking = 30 minutes – 1 hour 5-6 days a week
Yoga = once a week
Rock climbing = once – twice a week
This week I’ll be adding weight training (the group of 10 machines at the gym) 1-2 times a week.
I have 19 days before my wedding. I seriously should have started this routine months ago!! I’m petite, and don’t have a lot of weight to drop (5-10 pounds), I just really want to get of my little tummy.

I just started doing:
1x a week: 1 hour turbo fit class + 45 minute body fit class
2x a week: 1 hour session with personal trainer
1x a week: 45 minutes of cardio
1x a week: jogging/walking/bicycling outside or any other form of outside activity
1x a week: stretch/yoga day at home for 20 minutes
1x a week: Off day
No results yet but I know this will pay off soon! 🙂

We go to the gym Monday-Friday and run 45minutes a day, then do arms M,W,F and legs T,T. We got so busy leading up to the wedding though that we sort of skimped on going.. we are getting back on track now.

i do a bootcamp class 3-4 days a week (during the week), a boxing class 1 day a week (saturday) and usually ride my bike 2 days a week (saturday and sunday). i’ve been doing this routine for about 3 months now and have lost about 9 lbs. however, i didn’t really start eating healthy until about 2 months in… and this COMPLETELY makes a difference!

Every Day (spread out): 100 push ups, 100 dips, and 40 pull ups, and a varied abs workout.
1x per week: Run home from work (11 miles)
2x per week: 7 mile run
2x per week: 4 mile run
2x per week: rotating P90X workout, depending on what I am feeling.
If I tell people my “Every day” arms work they usually freak, but it is actually really easy! I have a pull-up bar at home, and doing it in sets of 5 (which takes like 30 seconds) I can do just walking around the apartment in the evening in the morning or the evening. Same with the pushups and dips – a little here and a little there til I hit my quota. I feel like I don’t even have to think about it now!
As it gets more into winter I will probably scale down the runs and do more P90X, which is just like a great bootcamp but perfect for people like me who frequently have to work early and/or late.
I feel like this has worked great – I am in total maintainence mode for the wedding!

@rusticgirl: Wow! That’s quite a workout routine. I would love to be in the shape where I could even consider a workout routine like that. But until I am in that shape, this is what I started doing a few weeks ago to begin getting in shape for the wedding:
3 times a week hot yoga. For those not familiar think flow yoga with a room at 103 degrees – it really gets me sweating and feels like a great toning workout for my muscles.
3-4 times a week run/walk. Working my endurance up using couch to 5k.
5 times a week – Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred. I just added this in last week.

How in the world do some of you do up to 2 hours of workout a day? By the time I get home from work, cook dinner/lunch for the next day, and clean up/destress a little, the 30-45 minutes I run every other day seems killer! We’re also about to start investing in some weights so hopefully that’ll help with some toning 🙂

@MrsWrangler: It’s definitely hard. It can be super hard. Sometimes, all that gets me through it is having people counting on me. Rugby for example…a lot of times it would be easy to say screw it…but as soon as I do, I know I’m letting down my team.
I also find setting goals helps. If I know I’m building to something, I make the time. 🙂
