SeaOfLove:  yikes! I think yours is much worse than mine at this point…though I can only comprehend the gist of it!

We went to Vegas this weekend, and I don’t think I have quite recovered because I am nearly comatose today. Worth it! #firstworldproblems

I worked 2nd shift last night, (until 11pm) and had to work this morning (at 7am). I can never go right to bed when I get home from a 2nd shift, too awake, so I didn’t get to bed until after 1am, and I had to be up at 6am… But I woke up this morning to find that I had accidently taken home a key from work. A key that doesn’t have any copies, and that was missing for all of 3rd shift and part of 1st shift. Whoops. Thankfully, all is well. ๐Ÿ™‚

I could only find one black shoe, and one brown shoe this morning. For abour 6 mins I flipped looking for my shoes. Come to find out, they were only the shoe rack the whole time.

This was pre coffee.

One of our dogs barked a bit throughout the night so that was definitely annoying. However, the “it’s definitely Monday” moment was when I got pulled over on my way to work. Hasn’t happened in over 10 years!

Most Mondays I work in two diferent places, but one Monday a month I stay in one location the entire day. Today was that day, and it just felt so tedious. It’s done though.

SeaOfLove:  I teach a chemistry class (college level) and one group of students managed to submit two different versions of a lab report, with different group names on it. How? Not sure. I’ve also started grading these lab reports, for which I gave out a very specific rubric for, and talked about in class, and in lab, and I still have a few groups not using proper citations (for which there is a very simple step by step method given to them) and not following the rubric. They also are apparently never taught to use proper sentence structure or grammar.

I just applied to a new teaching position that’s actually in my field, and I cannot waaaaait to find out if I get it, because I so, so, SO want/need to be teaching something that I enjoy….or at least not a class that is required for 75% of programs. *sigh*
