BijouBee:  Thanks so much!  It was a really nice surprise. I am in awe of your Christmas bling. The sapphire and OMC 5-stone band are both so deliciously, amazingly perfect. I hope you will continue to post gazillions of pictures of them. They are just … wow! *.*

princessbride1979:  LOVE your new shirt — and your gorgeous, gorgeous pups, too! The picture of you sitting with your back to the camera and your dogs on either side of you is so perfect.

GemmaBella:  Thanks so much. It is a blue topaz. It’s lighter than a London Blue — maybe Swiss Blue? I honestly can’t get over how pretty and sparkly it looks in this setting. I have another ring that has this type/color of topaz in it, and I was always a little bit underwhelmed by that stone. (Maybe I’m weird. LOL)

Thanks, too, for your kind words and empathy/sympathy re: the bad news. A beloved aunt passed away yesterday evening. It’s weird to say, because I am sad about it … and so is the rest of my family (she was my mom’s oldest sister), but, at the same time, it is a little bit of a relief. She was sick for many years, and really suffered. It’s kind of a relief to know that she won’t suffer any longer. Even though we all already feel lonely for her. Not sure if that makes sense or not. :/

luckyladylaterinlife35:  Thanks so much, Dear Friend. *hugs*

Things will be all right for all of us. As I mentioned above, a beloved aunt passed away yesterday evening. She was my mom’s oldest sister, and she had been very ill for many years. She had been suffering terribly for a long time. I feel sad knowing that she isn’t with us in this world any longer, and lonesome for her, and also sad over the many childhood memories that prominently feature her. She is the aunt who taught me how to sew and embroider and do crewel work. For most of my childhood, her house was the place for our family’s Christmas gathering. She used to make many of my clothes when I was a child. There’s just … a lot. At the same time, even though I know we are all lonely for her and miss her already, none of us can be completely sad because it’s a relief that she won’t have to suffer any longer. Hopefully that doesn’t sound too morbid or horrible. It’s hard to explain well in writing.

It’s also hard because I live so far away from my family. I’m in Virginia and they are all in Texas. My parents are up here with me right now, though. So I’m glad I can be with my mom right now.

It seems shallow of me, but looking at everyone’s bling and reading everyone’s happy posts is really lifting my spirits right now.

*cyber hug* for you on the loss of your aunt. I understand what you mean, however, about feeling some sense of relief that she’s no longer battling her health challenges.

longtimemrs:  I am very sorry for your loss! I am glad she isn’t suffering any longer. I have lost a lot of elderly family and it doesn’t make it any easier, so I understand your greif. I am sure she will be missed very much! Always that much harder at the holidays. ((Hugs))

vhenke1:  I don’t really wear much jewelry besides my engagement and wedding ring, but I am obsessed with bows. I found this shop on Etsy a while back: https://www.etsy.com/shop/kaitlinkendalldesign and have been obsessing over these bow bracelets. I sent my husband the link as well as the names of the ones I would like. Here are just some of the twelve I received (and yes, a bit excessive, but I’ll wear them every day!!!)

He also got me the glitter band in the last photo. I’m seriously obsessed!

Mine was a chrisma-versary gift that I got on our anniversary, 12/13.. It’s a locket with my baby girls birthstone and initial (I CANT WAIT TO PUT HER PICTURE IN IT 😊) that I now wear everyday. Lol and my mom bracelett. I love it it’s so sparkly and pretty. The perfect gifts since our baby girl was born 12/18!
