I wore my great-grandmother’s pearl earrings, necklace and bracelet. My oldest daughter let me borrow her blue moonstone ring. My younger daughter bought me a new garter. My grandmother gave me an Irish penny. The best thing I wore? My wedding ring!

    Best wishes!

I can’t decide. I have earrings and a necklace, but I don’t know if I’m going wear the necklace. I should since I paid $50 for it. But I don’t know for sure.

I voted necklace and bracelet, I’m not really going to count my earrings because I’ll just have my silver earrings in my upper ear, don’t have my lobes pierced so nothing special there. Neckclace might just be my silver chain with the medallion my Fiance gave me the first time we were together, it’s not blingy but I really really don’t want to take it off. Ever. And it would look wierd with another necklace.

the swarovski brilliance set. It was my moms bridal shower gift to me. I wanted something simple and understated. Although this set is stunning, it isn’t “too much”. At least I don’t think so. I don’t think I’ll be wearing any other jewelry.

Pretty certain I’m not doing a necklace because I am wearing a halter top dress

I’m wearing my grandmothers bracelet (which my mom also wore for her wedding) and earrings (don’t know what kind yet).Probably no necklace because my gown has an illusion boat neck so I don’t think a necklace will work. And my ering and wedding bands of course! πŸ™‚

@Jamcnair:  I had a friend who wore a halter and she wore long strands of pearls. What she did was went to Michaels, bought cream color pearls and jewelry/necklace line and then did the strands and sewed them to the inside of the halter so they fell properly and didn’t rub under her halter line. Honestly, it looked gorgeous!

I have a pearl bracelet and pearl studs.  I am a minimalist with jewelry everyday.  I don’t care for anything on my neck, so I won’t do a necklace.

I am trying to decide the same thing. Partly due to the fact my mom bought me earrings and i cannot find a necklace. But my dress has beading along the top.. So i think the dangling swarovski crystal ball earrings and a bracelet will be enough.. so i think you should go with what you think πŸ™‚

@canadianplum:  Do you have your something borrowed yet? You could always ask your mom, future Mother-In-Law, best friend if they have pearls or something you could borrow…

If not, PM me and I’ll let you borrow mine πŸ™‚

I am wearing earrings, all studs (I have 9 holes total) and a necklace.  The necklace has gold flowers and leafs that match my dress, which is strapless.

I think a necklace is a must! I am super bummed that at my bachelorette party I lost the necklace my mom got made for me that consited of the diamonds from her wedding rings from when she was married to my father (my Dad died in 2005). But I bought a replacement and my mom is getting earrings made to match. I cant wait!
