I’d probably forego a band because that ring is show stopper.

My next suggestion would be the one you ordered.. something simple and elegant that won’t take away from the e-ring.

It looks lovely on its own. I agree that a simple band is probably the best, if you really want the two-ring look.

@babylexii:  IMO that ring takes up too much finger so I would leave it as is. But it might just work if you like it.

I wouldn’t wear it with a band.  It looks great on its own!  On another note, I would not wear it with a tungsten band.  Because they’re different metals, over time the tungsten will wear away the gold.  I’d wear the ering for days I was feeling fancy, and the tungsten band on days I’d want something more low-key.

I think it looks great on it’s own :). My mom has a bigger, unique ring and she’s only ever worn the one. I think it’s fine just to have the one… not incomplete at all. Or maybe get a band for days when you want somethng plain and low key? Or I’ve heard some women move the ering to the right hand and wear ther weddng ring on the left.

None! It’s just going to fit together really weird. I also have a marquise shape ring and wear no band with it.

I’m not sure those two will look good together.

If it were my choice, I’d have a very thin diamond band (1/2 eternity maybe) or just a thin gold band with a few diamonds set in the top to coordinate with the ering.  I’d have it made to follow the sort of “lightning-bolt” shape of the ering, then have it soldered together after the wedding so it doesn’t shift around.

I don’t think you need a band. It’s a beautiful ring on it’s own.
