(Closed) What kind of band would you recommend?

Personally, I’d skip the band.

It’s a gorgeous ring and I think it should stand alone, as the split shank looks very symmetrical and balanced (I think adding a band ruins that look).

Straight pave or plain band would be the way to go with your ring. You wont want to detract from it, you’ll want to show that you have two rings. My ring does have a contoured matching band that I do plan to get instead, but in a different gold color so that it stands out; but this is how the straight band would look. thumbnailthumbnail (1)

monika54 :  adding a band(s) will totally change the look of the ring since it’s a criss cross band. I agree, either let it stand alone, or add two bands on either side. Thin rose gold pave bands would look pretty on either side, but will alter the “look,” as I said…

I really like your setting! I think the option of having two petite bands, one on each side of your ring would like really beautiful. I agree, it would like change the entire look of your ring, but if you go to a store and try on some different options, even different colored gold, you might be surprised 🙂
