This page has some great bustle information! I am doing the side-sling bustle for my dress, which has a lot of rouching.

from my understanding it is like venetian blind. You pull a string or 2 and up it goes, but I may be wrong. Don’t quote me on it.

I love the idea of the austrian, or the side sling!

I am facinated by the slide sling bustle and am slightly sadened that it won’t work on my dress.

Because it’s a plain A-line skirt and i just think it would look to odd. Oh well. I’m thinking of a ballroom bustle becaue I love how it makes it look like a regular skirt.

I loved the way my bustle looked, it’s kind of the austrian but less puffy 🙂  PM me if you’d like to know how she did it.  Here’s a pic 🙂

@honeyoats22 – I’m sorry. I guess it’s an over bustle, or a ball room bustle but it’s not flipped under, it’s pined up like this:

we have the same gown. I don’t remember what my bustle was called, but it was very simple and inexpensive.  It only had three buttons. In the photo it looks longer b/c I decided to wear flats at the last minute.
