What kind of car do you drive? Do you love it, hate it, why? Just curious!
I drive a 2009 Toyota Yaris (37MPG city yaa!) and Darling Husband, much to his dismay, drives a 2007 Honda Odyssey. We lovingly call it the Man Van.

Me: 2010 Toyota Matrix – Love it for the fact that the hatch back is fully lined with plastic and my dog can be wet or muddy and all i have to do is wipe it out
Him: He drives a 2010 F150 – I am thouroughly impressed with his car and attention for this vehicle. Its his first “new” vehicle so he takes such good care of it

I have a 2004 Mazda 3 which I absolutely love. He also loves it and always wants to drive it. He drives a 2010 Dodge Dakota and it’s his baby. He takes really good care of both of our vehicles, I never wash it because he does it like once a week when he decides it’s too dirty.

I drive a 2008 Honda Element…and I looooooooooove her! I love how she drives, I love how much she holds, I love that she is water proof on the inside (including the seats), also loved that my Irish Wolfhound could fit in it with no issues.
Darling Husband drives a Chevy Blazer for now. He is a mechanic so he goes through cars like water.

@NY152: MINI Cooper S. Yes, I love it, its way fun to drive and has great looks and design but I do miss the space of my previous SUV!

@NY152: I drive a 2011 Volkswagen GTI and I LOVE It! The GTI is the sport version of the Golf and it has a honeycomb grill and red trim. The inside has plaid seats which is super cute and unique. It’s a 6-speed manual too so it is FAST!

I drive a 2007 Mazda 6 and I love it. I fell for the styling it drives great and it actually very comfortable for long car trips.
Fiance drives a 2009 Ford Focus and he loves it, I love the Sync system he has for music. We can both charge our phones at the same time and plug in a USB for iPhone or iPod for music.

2012 VW Turbo beetle and I LOVE it! I bought it to replace my ’02 beetle that got written off just after Christmas and it’s way nicer. It has all the bells and whistles, an upgraded stereo (8 speaker Fender audio, sub in the back) panoramic moon roof, touch screen navi, heated leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, heated mirrors. Well basically everything. The only thing I don’t like about it is it only takes premium gas which gets expensive (it was $72 for my last fill!)

I drive a 2012 Mazda3 hatchback and it’s a surprisingly fun car to drive. Originally, we had planned on the Mazda being our main car, but then my Fiance got a Chevy Volt last year and that has become our daily driver. My office has free electric car chargers and we carpool to work together every day, so it saves us a ton of money. The Mazda is now our weekend and long-distance car, although sometimes I’ll find excuses to take it out for a spin just because 🙂

I have a Mustang GT and my fiance has a Corvette and a Chevy Cruze. We live in Detroit, so we love our cars 🙂

Darling Husband and i share a 2012 subaru impreza 5 speed manual. i love this car!!
@sofiekitty: i love your car! my first car was a golf so VW has a special place in my heart. i’ve always wanted a 6 speed manual so i’m super jealous of that! 🙂

@sofiekitty: I had a 2005 Golf back in the day, and LOVED it!! I didn’t know that they made the GTI in a 4-door now – ill have to check that out if we ever need a second car 🙂
OP: right now we have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, and love it! Great gas mileage, great warranty, lots of space (but still compact – just well designed), looks sporty! I do wish it were a stick shift sometimes, but then I sit on the Bay Bridge in traffic for an hour and i’m glad we got an automatic, haha.

Me: Acura MDX (7-seater SUV) because we have 2 kids and 2 big dogs and we like to take road-trips regularly.
Him: Acura TL (4-door sedan) because we both prefer a smaller car for daily use.
Older Daughter: Honda Accord (safe, reliable starter car)
Younger Daughter: Will be purchasing a Honda Accord or Civic for her this weekend!
In about 3 years, when we finish paying off the baby’s car, I’m going to buy a convertible BMW as my fun car. I’ve always loved small cars and while my SUV is awesome (fully loaded, comfortable, and very useful), I want/need a small car to zip around in.

I have a Mercedes E350. I love it. Such a smooth ride and it has a big engine. It gets pretty good gas mileage all things considered. About 20-21 mpg in the city and 30-31 highway.
My husband has a Nissan Xtera. It’s like driving a tank but he loves it. Doesn’t get as good of mileage as my car but it isn’t too bad.
Best of all is that they are both paid off. Not having car payments is so liberating.

I drive a 2006 Subaru Impreza hatchback. Fiance drives a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX.
