2012 Kia Soul … love it!!
2012 Kia Soul … love it!!
2011 Toyota Highlander.
ME- 2012 GMC Terrain, FI-2006 Pontic Grand Prix.
Me: My 2007 Toyota Yaris is my primary car. I love it so much. It gets great gas mileage, is pretty new (especially compared to the rest of my family’s cars), and is reliable.
I also just bought a 1994 Honda Accord as a secondary car.
Fiance: 2004 Hyundai Accent. He hates it. After the wedding we will either scrap or sell his car and he’ll drive the Honda that I own.
Me- 1996 Subaru Outback, FI- 2000 Honda CR-V.
Both of our cars are 190,000+ miles. I love my Outback, but it’s really on its last leg. I’ll continue to drive it until the wheels fall off, then I’ll probably get another Outback or a Forester. Fiance hates his CR-V, so he’s been looking for either a pick-up or a Jeep.
@Hippos: My ex hubby was a mechanic and I went through cars like water because he couldn’t drive. I totally get that!
@crayfish: My SO has a 2013 Elantra. He was looking at the Veloster but said the ride blew, so he went with the Elantra instead. He adores that car, sometimes more than I think he adores me!
OP: I have a 2007 Hyundai Accent. Love my car to pieces, although it’s getting old and the paint (thank you Chicago winters and New Orleans summers) is getting a bit flaky in places. I pay it off in like 3 months though, so I’m going to keep it going as long as possible before I get a new one.
Darling Husband and I share a 2006 Toyota Corolla. I’m dying for a new car though, but we probably won’t have one until this one takes a shit or we get a house, whichever comes first.
I drive a brand new red Ferrari :))))))))))
oh hang on a minute I just woke up DAM………….
I drive a Holden Commodore but it’s always a Red Ferrari in my dreams!!!!!!
ME: Jeep Liberty 2011 70th Aniversary Edition or 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited
Fiance: 1998 Eddie Bauher Ford Explorer or 2011 Jaguar XF Super Charged
Flintstone special. I stick my feet out the bottom and run. I took a special footwork class so now I have ABS
2011 Honda Fit, and I love it. My fiance drives a 1998 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight — we’re planning to get him a new car later this year or next year, and he wants a Honda Accord or Civic.
A Mercedes E320–of the vintage that was among the last of the hand built Benzes made in Germany. Her name is Brunhilde & she’s a 6 cyl that gets 30 mpg, believe it or not though Hilde is fast. Her model is known for good mileage & Benz itself was always ahead of its time in terms of low emissions.
I love her because to me, she looks like what an MB is supposed to look like. Not to put down anyone else’s MB, it’s just my personal taste. Hilde’s a good example of her era. (the 1990s).
I used to have a 560 SEC, 1987, talk about a fast car, wow.
Dh’s car started falling apart, so I gave him my 2006 Kia Spectra with only 45K mi on it. Dang, that car has been reliable. I bought it at Carmax–love them, with 3300 mi on it & she’s never had so much as a hiccup.
They bought Dh’s junkbox & paid it off so now he’s payment free too. That’s a good feeling.
I love car threads.
My Chevy Camaro and I have a love-hate relationship. I love it when I’m flying down the highway with the top open and the windows down, but trying to maneuver the thing in town (whch is 90% of the time) is…er, difficult. It was not built for city-dwellers, that’s for sure. It’s kind of like driving a tank that won’t turn very sharply so there are definitely certain parking garages that I avoid. I’m currenly debating whether to sell it…
…but holy crap, talk about a fine-looking automobile! I might just keep it and get a super-cheap beater to use as a daily driver.
I drive a 1998 Nissan Altima! It’s a great car. My fiance drives a 2000 Toyota Camry, which I steal all of the time. 🙂 I really wanted a Camry, but couldn’t find one when I was shopping. So, my car is great, but I like his so much better lol.
