What kind of car do you drive?

I drive a 2017 Subaru Forester, base model.  I like the way it handles and while I don’t have bad winter weather where I am, I did growing up on the East Coast and the Forrester was always a great pick.  I wish I had bought a model with more upgrades as I feel like my car is pretty basic.  The other downside is the MPG is quite a bit lower than the sedans I have driven over the years (understandably), averaging 27-30 mpg.  I deal with a lot of traffic so that impacts it.  Overall I am happy with my choice.  The other car I considered when I purchased this was a Rav4.

I know you said it must be a car, but I drive a Toyota Highlander hybrid. It gets almost 30mpg and feels like a small suv, but surprise! Has two seats in the very back that pop up to make it a 7 seater. It handles really well and is spacious. It also has AWD so I can take it to the snow or on dirt roads.

The only negative so far is that it was pretty expensive to buy initially. And after driving a small sport car, at first it felt “slow” but I don’t notice that anymore.

I have a Fiat 500x.  It’s a small crossover.  It drives like a car, and it gets 30 mpg.  I LOVE the hatch back, though.  Small and mighty.  It fits a LOT of stuff.

I drive a Fiat 500. To be honest I wouldn’t recommend it for winter driving. I live in LA and it’s perfect for city driving. I can park just about anywhere which is a huge advantage in my city. It’s also really fun to drive and being an aggresive driver, the small size makes maneuvers really easy as well. The hatchback can also hold a surprising amount! I’ve had mine for 5 years – I bought it right when they started selling Fiat again in the US- and I don’t regret it for a minute.

2018 Honda CR-V EX w/AWD. Love everything about it and it gets great mileage for an SUV. Only other I even considered was the Forester, which I didn’t like after the test drive.

We have a Volvo XC90 and a Subaru Outback. Both are great for our kids and all their crap and have excellent snow performance. My husband was sold on the Volvo because when we bought it (3 years ago) no one had died in an accident involving the XC90 ever. (I think he was also making some kind of statement about my driving-sigh). Prior to those cars, I owned a Highlander and also really liked it.

I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 2019 it’s brand new and after driving a Nissan Altima coupe for almost ten years this SUV feels like a dream.

It drives very smoothly, it’s spacious, I find that I fill it up just as often as I did with my Nissan so I’m pretty impressed with that.

Love the way it handles, Ive heard how great it is driving through just about any weather which is why I decided to get the Jeep.

The interior is gorgeous, the navigation is great, I love that it has CarPlay and hooks up to apple apps through the car. It reads texts to me while I drive and I talk to text through the car and it’s voice activated so I don’t have to press any buttons at all or look away from the road.

It has a great back up camera with park assist which is helpful for maneuvering into tight spots. It had heated seats and a heated steering wheel. I seriously can’t say enough good things about it so far. Highly highly recommended!

2015 Subaru Forester. I love it. It’s awesome in the snow. Our road hardly ever gets plowed and it drove through the 15 inches of snow we got two weeks ago with ease.
