I think a yellow sapphire would look great! Actually, a blue one would look awesome against the yellow gold, too. It’s such a pretty setting, you really can’t go wrong :).

What’s your budget (if you don’t mind my asking)? I think a warm (lower colored), antique style stone would look amazing in that. The yellow gold halo would play up those colors beautifully. Or even you could go way low, like W-X or Y-Z, that way it would have the look of a fancy yellow without the “fancy” price! 🙂

@NinaS: Gorgeous ring! I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever stone you decide, it depends on how much money your looking to spend.. I’d personally consider moissy for the sparkle, they come in yellow also 🙂
