Growing up we always had a fake green one because of my father’s allergies and now that I’m married we have a fake green one because of my allergies.

I always grew up with real trees. My parents would pile me and my sisters into my moms mini van and we’d go find one to cut down. The past 7 or so years my mom has used a fake one, though. I have ALWAYS wanted a big white tree with bright ornaments and thats exactley what my husband and I did. I love it!

Fake! So much fluffier and low maintenance than a real one. And they can come pre-lit!

When I was younger I was always enamoured with white trees.  But they were much less popular and crazy expensive.  But it has always always always been a fake tree in my household.

An artificial green tree that is pre-lit.  =) I like to have my tree up early!

Real, all the way! We live far enough north that we’re allowed to go cut one down in the bush. 🙂

I always had a real tree growing up, we usually cut them down on my grandparents land. This year SO and I are buying a half sized fake tree because we live in a apartment in the middle of the city.

We have a fake tree that we’ve had since we moved to NYC, but growing up I always had a real one. Nothing tops that pine smell on Christmas morning. We also light up a Menorah for the SO. Cool

Always had a fake one growing up because of my brother’s pine allergies.  I was looking forward to getting a real one when I was out on my own but the Fiance also has allergies to pine.  Oh well!

REAL. It isn’t Christmas without it!

Though in my little apartment I have a fake one up just for decoration, but I am not at my apartment for Christmas. I am usually at my parents’ and we always have a gnarly big ol’ real tree up.

Real. As soon as I moved out of my parent’s home I started cutting down my own real tree. I just… I couldn’t take the fake anymore. LOL

I have a 4 foot white one. Pre lit. We’ve never had a real tree, and I dont think I want one. Too much upkeep.

But if we ever have the space, I want a flocked tree.

None at all until the weekend before Christmas and it comes down on 12th night – I hate how spun out it’s all become. Here we had Christmas decorations in the shops before Bonfire Night, which feels deeply wrong to me.
