Gah, I’m glad I’m not alone in the hating to avoid running into people from high school thing.  I NEVER go out when I’m home and that’s a large part of the reason why–it’s almost certain that I’ll run into people I’d rather not!  Going out in the city is so safe, I barely ever see anyone I know unless I came with them, ha.  It blows my mind how frequently Fiance runs into people he went to school with (only 130 in his graduating class!) in Manhattan though!

we are definitely homebodies (now). ๐Ÿ˜‰

when we first met, i was newly single, and VERY into the post-college/after-work going out scene. Fiance was there a LOT, little did i know he was totally just there to spend time with me! ๐Ÿ˜›

over the last few years, i’ve definitely been partied out. and i honestly wouldnt have it any other way.

we still go out occasionally for special events, sporting events, friends’ bdays, wknd trips to chicago, etc. but 99% on a fri/sat night, u bet we’re at home watching a movie, or sippin cocktails watching tv outside in our HOTTUB! ๐Ÿ˜‰

like the OP, we are much more active during the day on the weekends and like to chill at night instead of going to crowded/smelly/dirty bars… ๐Ÿ™‚

We are very selfish with our alone time and do not like to share it with anyone else.  We rent movies all the time and just chill on the sofa drinking my red wine while he anytime requested, massages my feet for me, I love him so much and love how good he massages them!!!! We also have a 16 mnth old daughter that takes up alot of our energy so we all spend QT together
