Definitely not a true cushion brilliant. Not only did your photo of the stone appear glittery like a crushed ice cut, but the facets don’t go all the way to the girdle according to your plot. Because of this, it’s some sort of cushion modified cut, possibly an “X-factor” but I have never heard of that before. It could be a special cut by the jeweler sort of like Henri Daussi cushions. 

ETA: “Among the Cushion Modified Brilliants are two main subcategories – Crushed Ice and X-Factor.” – Enchanted Diamonds. 

Given the above, your cushion is a type of modified brilliant, not as “brilliant” as a true brilliant, but more brilliant than other modified cuts.
