Here is a photo of my little rescue dog. She is about 11 weeks old (we think), medium to high energy (of course she’s a puppy still, too), teething/chewing like crazy this week, a big nuzzler/cuddler, super intelligent, follows commands most of the time but has a little case of “puppy brain” still, chases our cat 80% of the time, loves to be around people…sitting on your lap, chewing on a toy while laying on your foot, etc. She’s about 6 lbs and pretty tiny still. Pretty quiet dog with not a lot of barking, unless she hears or sees another dog, then she barks!

Any guesses on what kind of pup she is? Darling Husband & I think she could be part Jack Russell.

@MrsD41503: Def some sort of terrier. But that’s all I can tell. Sorry but your puppy is absoultly ADORABLE! Congrats to you and your furbaby!

@MrsD41503: some sort of beagle or terrier (like a jack russel) would be my guess!

Oh she is so precious!!!! I would guess maybe Jack Russell plus Beagle? The cat doesn’t look too thrill in that picture though π

@Bribaby119: Thank you, we sure love her to no end! The nipping and gnawing on everything is driving me CRA-zy but we’ll get through it. I feel like I spend all my time re-directing to toys!

@victorianghost: Thank you! I feel like she’s losing her puppy face a little each week, trying to capture as many photos as I can until then. And yes, I made her wear a Thanksgiving bandana when my in-laws came for Thanksgiving dinner π

Cute puppy! I think she looks like a beagle/JRT mix.

So cute. My first thought was Beagle. Just from looking at her paws she seems a little big for Jack Russell but her face definitely has the look of one.

The funny thing is…the shelter listed her first breed as lab….??? whaaaa?? LOL! Whatever, doesn’t really matter, we knew she probably wasn’t a lab!

@MrsD41503: Her ears and body almost remind me of a boxer!! The floppy ears and broad chest! Maybe like a boxer terrier mix?
Not my boxer but here is one I googled:

There’s definitely Jack Russell in there somewhere!
