We live in a condo on the second floor.  I want a house with a yard, that’s my only requirement at the moment.  An igloo would be cool though.

I’ve only ever lived in a single family detached house and a dorm. I don’t think I could handle an apartment/condo/townhouse.

We’re in an apartment right now, on the second/top floor. I don’t mind it, though we want a house (detached) someday. And maybe a castle, because your poll gave me the idea. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Condo! Fiance lived on the military base before we bought the condo.

I want a castle… But right now we rent a detached house, we are moving into an apartment and in a few years will be buying a house with some land (2+ acres hopefully). I couldn’t imagine living in a house where I shared walls forever.

We live in a condo. While it’s not terrible and we’ve had very few complaints throughout the last 5 years that we’ve been here, I want a house. Our condo has very little private outdoor space and I haaaaaaate being surrounded by other people. Prior to apartment living (we’ve lived in 3 different apartments since we started dating), I had only ever lived in townhouses (just attached on one side) and single family detached homes. However, I would take a castle over either of those any day. ๐Ÿ™‚

Apartment on the top floor.  I feel like we should own a home by now but we’re living in a town where we don’t want to settle down and honestly, houses seem like such a pain in the ass. Of course I want one some day…but nothing too big!

We live in a condo, but we dream of a house with a garage or at least a townhome with a garage. We aren’t willing to sacrifice city life for a house further out.

We own a condo on the top corner with lots of windows… however, we rent that out and are now living in a semi-detached house (duplex). The house is a lot more spacious, which is nice, but I miss our condo a lot.

I live in a townhouse/row (we call them terraced in the UK)

I’m happy with the type of house I live in, however I would love the expand, which in our row there is NO SPACE for – therefore I would love to be in a semi-detatched so if it wasn’t big enough we could extend.

In addition, simply for the purpose of this poll I wish I lived in an igloo ๐Ÿ˜‰

Apartment, top floor/second floor. We love our apartment. We have been here for two years. But we cannot wait until we buy a house, detached.

I wish I lived in a castle! Then we could have the wedding at home!

Hah, of course I picked “farmhouse”.  It’s a single level, on a quarter section of land.  SO much work to do, sigh..
