My theme is gerbera daisies (coral and bright pink) with pink and peach roses, and a couple calla lillies stuck in the bouquet (my whole wedding is based on this amazing bouquet i fell in love with!
i’ve been online looking at different ones (we are trying to do a DIY – my mom’s very crafty so if it wasn’t for her it would NOT be a DIY lol)…i have come across mint tins, boxes with candy…but i’m looking for something different, so i’m asking what you are all doing to maybe get some more unique ideas 🙂 Thanks so much!

We were going to go with chocolate covered pretzels, but now we are thinking we may take the money that would have been spent on favors and donate it to a charity of our choice.

I did boxes of Pocky in bags with Yay send off flags (one per person). I think one of the Bees (Mrs. Sewing I think) also did Pocky, but used one sleeve per person (I think each box has 4 sleeves).
I got the bags at the Party Store and put the Pocky in there and used tissue paper to cover it up.

My FH has gotten into making his own beer. So he is going to brew enough beer to give everyone a bottle, and we are going to make our own labels :).

I’m doing personalized votive candles. I got this really pretty, printable damask wrap that goes on the candle. And we have this slightly tinted pink candle which goes perfectly with our colors.
They’re doubling as place cards/favors!

@cocobean:
i am actually going to start making wine this fall……but we are going to have a bottle of red and white with personalized labels on the table (to share between 8 people) but i wanted a little something for the guests to take home.
I did just come across a clear box with a thick ribbon around the bottom and 2 sides and a gerbera daisy glued to the top, filled with whatever (we both love chocolate, so i’m thinking maybe choco covered almonds or something neat)….

I’m doing mason jar mugs that go with our country-ish theme. We bought personalized etching stencils with our names and the date on them to personalize the mugs and we’re filling them with jelly beans because that’s FI’s nickname for me 🙂

We have two..
When guest arive they will find their book of love poetry on a table…each book will have a bookmark inside with the guests name and table number..along with a thank you..

We are brining pumpkins to the site for our very own pumpkin patch for pictures…(October 22 bride)…
There will be a sign our front of that patch stating (pick a pumpkin)
The more I read on here and online, it seems people prefer edible options.. whoops =/

i had wanted to do the luggage tag thing like
MrsNeutrino but i could never find where to buy them and then i found my sea shell place settings. I ended up getting luggage tags as favors for my bridal shower because i finally found some nice leather ones on sale 2 days before my shower – and it made sense for them to have the tags before they travel to Jamaica!
for my wedding favors, i gave out sandalwood fans at the ceremony.

My Fiance wanted shot glasses, my stipulation was frosted shot glasses.
If no one takes them, then… more for us! 😀 (though, honestly, our friends will love ’em and WILL use them because the majority drink). The family that doesn’t drink, will keep ’em ’cause it’s from the wedding (plus, it’s a very awesome logo I designed and many people have already fallen in love with it).
We’re also going to have candy that will probably be eaten within an hour or two ’cause our friends and family love candy.
