- Wedding: May 2013
okay y’all I know this may sound silly but what kind of food?
First off my VR isn’t for 2 years. Its at a park. (our original wedding spot:) romantic, i know!) This will be the party/wedding of dreams!!!!! well, on a budget… LOL (fyi… colors are blues and oranges)
The party/VR starts at either 1 or 2, haven’t figured this part out yet, but its somewhere between lunch and dinner. I want to know what kind of food to have. We don’t have a real “theme” or anything. We are low maintanance laid back people. But I want a touch of class..
For my cake I am planning a cheesecake bar: Plain cheesecakes on cake plates of varying heights, shapes, colors, etc… then we will set up a topping station (strawberries, blueberries, chocolate syrup) Will also have cupcakes and stuff. Since we do not need a cake.
For our favor, we will be doing a candy buffet. Already got the candy picked out of what we are having.
Anyhow, I am wondering what kind of food should we have? Its after lunch, but before dinner… that being said… We are renting a party bus to hit a bunch of dive bars, some of them have food. But I also want to serve food at our reception. Decent food. Like I do not want subway sandwiches or anything, but i dont know, i just need some ideas for food. We need some kind of like “real” food because we are serving beer at our reception.
My husband wants BBQ… uh no! not on my dress… and I am not a fan of BBQ. Its in a park and I do not want hamburgers/hot dogs either. Soooo suggestions are welcome, and as always, pictures rock! and… he just said Pizza… come on now LOL… Do you see why I come here? hahaha.
so, what kind of food did you serve at your afternoon park ceremony?
