Mine is white gold. Platinum is gorgeous but it scratches so easily I chose the other…I’ll ding it around I know I will.
Both my rings are white gold. I was afraid that platinum would scratch too easily and it wasn’t worth the price difference for us. He has tungsten.
My e-ring is white gold. Not sure about wedding band, yet, I am hoping for something that wont need re-dipping, but not too expensive.. Perhaps palladium?
My e-ring is platinum, and wedding band will also be platinum. Does anyone know why there is such a price difference between platinum and white gold?
Both of my rings are white gold and my husbands is both white and yellow gold.
White gold. I asked him to get it rather than platinum since it’s cheaper & I know I don’t have a nickel allergy. My band is white gold too, we haven’t bought his yet.
Platnum e-ring, Yellow Gold (9karat) wedding band. My wedding band was made from my two gransmother’s wedding bands which were traditionally 9K in Ireland at that time.
Im used to wearing white gold, but hubs wanted my rings to be platinum, yet his is white gold LOL!
Both of mine are platinum. Haven’t purchased his yet. I love rose gold but wasn’t aware of it until after the ring shopping was all said and done. Oh well :p
My ring is white gold… I love it!
I picked white gold but on second thought, I probably should have picked yellow gold! The rhodium plating wears off really quickly on mine. I got them done 3 months ago and it’s pretty much back to yellow now. Oh well. It used to bother me but I’m over it now.
My e-ring is white gold…we don’t have wedding bands picked out yet
@caitlanc: It must have something to do with the chemicals in your skin or something…I have 14K white gold and it hasn’t turned yellow at all, even after 10 months of being engaged…I was really worried about that but luckily it hasn’t been a problem.
