I’m hiring a DJ & I have requested a ton of oldies songs! They are my favorite! 🙂

For our ceremony we hired a flute/guitar combo and used classical pieces for the processional and recessional.  They stayed for the first hour of the reception and then we switched to our iPod for more upbeat music.

We are lucky because we have the San Francisco Conservatory of music here and you can hire their musicians for much less, and they were really good!

I have my heart set on a string quartet for the ceremony, and then a Dj for the reception. We went to a bridal show at which there was a string quartet playing, and I just fell in love.

Otherwise, we’d be using the church organist. 🙂

My family has a lot of musicians, including a professional flautist, composer, and multiple pianists. I plan on asking a few of them to prepare some hymns for the ceremony, and have a recorded song for the recessional.
