Some of the pictures I really like a lot from ours were just us, laying out on a quilt in the grass. The quilt added a little more interest and color without taking away from us.

Edit: It also kept us from getting all dirty laying on the ground 🙂

Where are you getting your pics done?

What time of year? and…is there any kind of theme? lol

Pinwheels would be cute… I also like the bubble idea. These would be great in a beautiful outdoor field or country setting.

Masks? Like the kind used Phantom of the Opera that cover just your eyes and have a stick to hold.

Or…what about streamers/ribbons? If it’s windy, colorful ribbons trailing behind you two would be cute.

Or…perhaps a picnic setting…

Hmm….. What about a large basket of picked flowers? Ones you can toss around. Perhaps get a couple of action shots with them.

I think the main thing is finding a location that will take your breath away or offer unique settings

@keepsmiling19: A basic veil.

It may sound strange and I got the idea from an after wedding shoot that I saw online. For some reason a simple veil with your normal clothes just adds to a photo. My photographer thought it was a bit wierd at first but then agreed the photos turned out to be amazing.The veil blowing in the breeze, so pretty!

I will post them once I get them. 🙂

I may be the minority here but I am not a fan of props.  They don’t stand the test of time, and can be cheesy.  I think something for the save the date is fine, but unless you are doing a well thought out theme shoot, think about getting some natural nice portraits of yourself.  The pics of your shoes, or looking at books may seem cute in s series on the blog, but will look kind of out of place in print on your wall or desk.
