Fiance is a pretty grungey guy (not a critique, just a fact). He’s not grungey as a fashion statement though… he just doesn’t really replace his clothing. like ever.
can’t decide if this means i should go for something a bit edgy in the man ring department or if i should just stick to super simple and basic.
what did you bees pick to match your guy’s style? pics are, of course, welcome!

Depends on him. Maybe show him pictures of potential rings that both of you like?
I’m getting Fiance a tungsten ring. He wants something with tire tracks on it, but I want something with a rope design, so we’re both kind of unsure for now, but we definitely agree on tungsten as the material as it doesn’t scratch. Fiance has a man-gagement ring made from tungsten. He’s had it for a while and there isn’t a single scratch 🙂

I thought the man picks his own ring? I picked my own wedding band, and Darling Husband picked a white gold comfort fit band for himself. He tried on several, but chose what felt most comfortable on his hand. I would not be comfortable choosing a ring my Darling Husband would have to wear forever.

I asked Fiance what he wanted and he told me something metallic, but not the kind that they have to cut his finger off if he’s in an accident. He was very adament about not getting his finger cut off-understandably so.

We just purchased his this weekend:

@MrsTVLover: does he? this would be great!

Fiance wants a dark charcoal tungsten band. The only issue with this is that it can’t be sized, I plan on buying him in a 10 (his “normal” size) than a 10.5 for the summer (so his 10 won’t be too tight when his fingers swell from the heat) I also like this ring for the fact that if it ever were to get stuck (like he smashes his finger or something crazy!) it is easy to break off if you hit it on tile!

My man is pretty “unique” and really did not want just a plain band with diamonds. I was bummed originally because I wanted our rings to match so I pictured him with a vintage-y looking engraved white gold band. But, when we went to look at rings for him? Those looked ridiculous on him! We spent quite a while looking around but all of the big jewlers had pretty generic looking men’s rings. Finally, he found a little local jeewler and saw a gold nugget style ring in yellow gold. He is getting it custom made but it will look something like this:
And this is my e-ring (that has a matching slim diamond band to match):

My FH chose a red and black ceramic tungsten band. He also wants to get a tattoo but I told him it needs to be able to be covered by a band for just in case he needs to interview for a professional job in the future.

I got him a thinwall, 6mm, brushed titanium band. He wanted something comfortable, and most men’s bands are WAY too thick/chunky/awkward looking. He’s going into Respiratory Care, so we also wanted something that wasn’t going to get in the way at work, or have crevices to get dirty.

I got him a wetland camo ring, he likes to hunt a lot.

Hubby wanted bling too. We love his ring!!

my Fiance and I went looking for bands together. He thought he liked one style and ended up liking something totally different.

My hubby picked his own out and he got a tungsten band with a black inlay thats totally him. Plus it didn’t cost a fortune which is great since he works with his hands needed something durable that will last forever. Def look together and let him chose what he wants.

@rawrrrrr: I got my FI’s band from tungstenaffinity.com and he loves it! I got it 8mm wide so it’s more “manly” lol. With engraving all together it cost about $130. And he’s prone to losing things so it can easily be replaced. Crossing my fingers he doesn’t though!!
