Hey Y’all! I’m not very good at all of this wedding stuff, and was wondering if you could help out! What kind and color of veil do you think would fit the best with this dress? It is a little pinker than it shows in the pictures, I think the satin casts light back and makes it look whiter. Any opinions on jewelry and shoes are welcome too!

You ARE good at this wedding stuff. Just look at the beautiful dress you have chosen!! It’s captivating. I think a very pale blush veil might work. I adore all the beading and detail in your dress

I think a white/ivory veil would play up the colour of your dress as there will be a slight contrast. If you get a blush veil, it will all blend in and end up looking a lot whiter overall. Depends what kind of look you are going for!

Iʻd hate to see the back of this beauty covered up but I understand the desire for a veil. I like the idea of a soft white/ivory veil, maybe long tho since this dress seems so regal to me.

I LOVE your dress. It’s stunning.
I’m a huge fan of longer veils so this is just my opinion, but I think a long veil would look amazing with your dress. My dress was a deep champagne so I went with a gold colored veil and it was so pretty. I would suggest trying on veils at a store but buying on a website like Etsy. You can find a lot of sellers that have multiple color options so you can choose a veil that matches your dress.

A lot of Etsy vendors will send you swatches of different colours to make sure your veil would match your dress, I would do that before ordering! And I think a very light blush, lighter than your dress, would look great.

It’s soooo stunning! Given the back is so beautiful and intricate (and a bit vintage) could you do an ivory blusher veil?

I really like the white veil with your blush dress (and what a beautiful dress it is!). I also like that length but would go for something with a little more body and volume to it, and perhaps with some pearls like the dress.

I think something like this single layer veil from Twigs and Honey would look amazing because it would allow you to still see all the beautiful details on the back of your dress.

Your dress is STUNNING! It’s actually exactly what I intended to find originally, but not in blush! I LOVE IT.
With that regal dress I would go an unadorned, single layer cathedral ivory veil. You’ll still see all of that stunning detail at the reception when the veil is removed.
