Bonjour from France to all the wedding bees 🙂
I know that my ring is not very “american bling bling” because here in France it is not very common to have a huge rock on your ering or wedding band.
However this is my engagement ring http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=fxbcxu&s=5
I really like it, it is really my style and my husbnd chose it to me. It is white gold and it has a little diamond on it.
Now I have still few months until the wedding day and I have been looking for the wedding band….I really don’t know what could fit with this kind of ring?Should it be something simple or could a band with lots of little diamond look too bling bling with it?
What would you dear ladies suggest to me? Any pics or expleanations are very well appriacted 🙂

Can you post an actual ring pic in your post? My e-ring (which Fi has yet to give me yet), is pretty simple (hower a little unique… I can’t remember all the details of the ring anymore LOL). It’s a small rock so since I like lots of sparly and some bling, I picked out an eternity wedding band. I knew I didn’t want a plain wedding band though, even if I had really blingy e-ring.

Sorry I was just editing my link to the photo and it failed but now it should work 😀
So you have already decided what to get for wedding band and you haven’t been proposed yet? That’s a real wedding bee spirit I guess 😉
I don’t mind to have plain wedding band but neither more blinbling….I don’t know what would look good…

I LOVE your e-ring!! I think you could totally wear a diamond band if you wanted some more “bling” it definitely wouldn’t be too much. I was thinking something like this- http://www.adiamor.com/Wedding-Rings/Pave/Classic-Pave-Wedding-Band/18KWhiteGold/1620 I think it totally depends on your style ! A plain gold band would be really classic, too!

@love108: That’s exactly what I was thinking!!! Beautiful!

Thanks for your suggestion 🙂 I really like this ring as well :)And I like that ring you suggested…It looks little bit like this:
but this one is only 239 euros 😀
I dream about this little bit but I am afraid that it will look too messy?
We have been thinking to buy our all rings online because here the rings in the shops are way more expensive and the quality even sucks. Maybe I should go to some shop just to “try on” something ike this to see how it actually look like…

Thank you <3
I thought that this forum is the worst place ever to come to show your engagement ring while being non-american 😀 I have to say I was first amazed to see that just “normal” people have rocks like that…wow
But here I have very very rarely seen something like that

@JustSayYes: Yes, I would try some on to see what styles you like.. you can always buy online later… but I really like that one you posted! And 239 euros– great deal!

I would go with an eternity bezel ring. I lvoe how the look comes together. I know there is at least one bee with the samel look with their bezel ering.

If you are worried about it looking too much you could also get a wedding band with diamonds spaced evenly apart which might go well with your ring too. Heres what I mean
The price is in GBP. It is definitely a good idea to try some on!

I think a ring similar to the Tiffany Etoile would look beautiful with your engagement ring. I’ve seen this style done by other jewelers as well.

@JustSayYes: Don’t worry, not all Americans have big big rings! It truly depends on culture (even within the US!) and location- rural or big city, where salaries can be a lot larger.

I like the look of this half eternity ring with pave diamonds
Or this single row pave eternity ring
I don’t think there is anything adding a little bling to this engagement ring, as long as you are comfortable with it at the end of the day.
Good luck and post pics when you choose 🙂

Oooooh, OP, I love your ring!!! I like the setting. I would probably do the simplest white gold or platinum band in 2mm or less. I am the bride that will actually be moving my ering to my right hand for JUST a 2mm band on my left.
If you want to cradle your ring, I would do it with something like this so it’s flush. http://www.bluenile.com/wedding-ring-white-gold_6663 I love pure modern color. 🙂

Aure’s band suggestion would look great with your ring!
