I don’t travel for any weddings any more, just not interested enough to make that effort, so although the college campus one sounds simple and sweet and would be my favorite if nearby, if I have to drive 3 hours for it, nope. The Beach one would be nice, too and I love the idea of Charleston and having all weekend to explore. Ok, you’ve just convinced me to travel to you wedding, haha.
The other ideas with strong “themes” are all various shades of No. Even if they were next door, just–no.

The beach! You do need to feed your guests real food though, even if that’s a hamburger and hot dog BBQ dinner.

Haven’t really considered parks around there because only like three members of our family are near rock hill. If we did have it in a park area it would be in Columbia or Charleston where we each live. Through not too excited about a park, mountains or river maybe.
P.s. also LOVE substation!

Rappig: yeah I saw someone else say this but I’m thinking about having the ceremony at around 8,9 at night so its dark and wouldn’t be so hot. People would be starving if that was when we decided to serve dinner lol
I was thinking about a small make your own pizza bar like some people have late night snacks. Though don’t think most people will be expecting a meal around 8:30 or later. Also in the south there are a lot of “cake and punch (tea)” receptions so I don’t think many people would think it was odd to only have snacks/cake that late.
