Destination, courthouse, with nobody around. Actually that sounds pretty good!

Elope!

A small part of me wanted to do it, but it was a very small part. It would have had to be fun, romantic, etc, for me to be into it though.

I would love to do one of those cruise weddings in Florida, followed by a bonfire beach party.

Completely opposite of what I’m planning? Very long religious ceremony in an enormous church during winter; reception in a non-traditional space with everything brought in, a buffet with a beef and a pork option, and no booze or dancing!

I feel like sometimes I AM planning my alter ego’s wedding, because it is practically expected in my social circle not to give two flips about the wedding itself, whereas I do — I’ve loved the whole planning and DIY process! So my “alter ego” wedding would probably be a courthouse wedding, or one planned totally by my mom!

Just me and my Fiance, and our closet family on a beach in Hawaii.  I’d wear a long flowy dress with my hair down and no shoes and he would wear a khaki suit.  I’ve played it out in my head about a million times and I love it.  Part of me wishes that was the plan for our real wedding.

We’re doing a small, chic, cocktail party — so I guess the opposite would be a huge, alcohol-free cookout 🙂

(which also sounds fun, now that I think about it)

Edit: no, I’d want booze at that one, too.

Elope…

A small part of me still wants to, Fiance really wants to, I wish we would. We are only 39 days out soooo it’s a little late, having paid for everything and all.

I think both my FI’s alter ego and mine would’ve gone for eloping somewhere fabulous and really enjoying being together and married, rather than who is going to pay for what and what else do we need to order and blah blah blah.

@lindseyl06:  The opposite of what Im planning would be super religious, in a big church with a super heavy big satin gown. Um a non alchoholic recepton in a traditional hall playing polka music? lol Alter ego would probably plan a fuscha and black wedding in an upscale new york venue that had to do with art and the centerpieces would be feathers and I would wear a short dress. Oh and there would be animal print.
