Hellllllo my fair bees! I come to you this evening with an odd question.
How you like yo chicken??
Well, not really. More along the lines of “What kind of chicken dishes do you like?”
Anyways, our caterer is a friend of Future Father-In-Law who owns a restaurant and he is cooking us anything we want for our wedding at $13/PP We’re already doing steak tips, pasta com broccoli, salad with his $5000 creamy italian dressing (don’t get me started on the $5000 part! LOL), and some sort of potato (not sure yet).
But I still need a chicken dish!
Things we’ve already asked him to think about:
A chicken w/ barbeque sauce (totally wanted to have a BBQ reception, but then we found him!)
Chicken cordon bleu (too much $$$$)
Soooo here I am, just looking for recommendations!

I love chicken marsala, chicken francese, stuffing stuffed chicken, chicken stir fry chicken parm, chicken piccatta. I could really go on forever.
Edit-now I’m starving and I really want to know more about this $5k dressing don’t leave us hanging!!! lol

Chicken piccata! or some sort of stuffed chicken.
Maybe he could do a pinwheel instead of cordon bleu.

@Saeliz: LOL Well, he bought the restaurant about 7 yrs ago, and the prev. owner had this creamy italian dressing recipe passed down through generations, and was going to sell it to him for $3,000, (because apparently chefs buy and sell recipes from another, NO idea about that!!!) but Greg (FFIL’s friend) thought he was crazy for wanting 3k for a salad dressing. so when he took ownership, the regular customers kept asking for the creamy italian dressing but he couldn’t give it to them, so they started leaving.
After business was dying, he finally went back to the guy and asked to buy it again. And this time the guy charged him $5000. LOL

Chicken Parmesan is my fave, mostly because I have a ketchup addiction, and marinara is the closest I can come in a ‘fancy’ (anything other than chicken nuggets 🙂 ) dish.

Love the $5,000 salad dressing story! Hahaha!
I think I’d stick with something fairly safe for the chicken dish, maybe something like Lemon Herb Chicken, Garlic Citrus Chicken, Stuffed Chicken, etc.
Your menu sounds delicious 🙂

Chicken Marsala is one of my favorites! Yum! For our wedding we chose a chicken with sun dried tomatoes and a cream sauce. It was out of this world! Can’t remember the name though. 🙁
