My fav lashes come from MAC! My absolute favs are from Shu Uemera but they pulled out of the US market.

@techie:  I wish I had thought to take pix when my dau had her trial makeup done, they were great! The thing is, you shouldn’t see any gap from the side. I don’t even know the brand, I will have to ask the make up artist.

Need to recommend Red Cherry (watch reviews on youtube, plus people go through their entire collections, do makeup trials wearing them, etc. so you can get a good idea of what style you want).

I’ve tried so many brands.. Ardell, Revlon, MAC, MUFE. Nothing compares to these!! I like all lashes,  and never thought they looked artifical but after trying Red Cherry’s for the first time I cannot go back. They are so realistic and gorgeous. If you’re interested I can dig up my order info and figure out which styles I have (lost original packaging). They are nice and full and dramatic without being HEY LOOK AT ME I’M CRAZY! But it also depends on your eye size of course.. I’d say I have medium to slightly small-ish eyes.

This is a great discount site for all brands, including Red Cherry:

If you do a google search you can also find a bunch of really good coupon codes for ~15% of your order.

I’ve always had good luck with Ardell lashes from Ulta/Walgreens. I’ve used them 10+ times.

@weddingbound:  Sephora, $15! You can get them on Amazon, too.

Sounds pretty time-intensive, but it’s not:

I’ve always gotten the Ardell lashes w/varying lengths (short-medium length) & then cut about 10 or 15 of the individual lashes slightly shorter, so there’s not such a pattern. I put a little mascara on them & they look 100% real. Of course, I also glue them directly to my eyelashes, as opposed to just above. Ha I’ve never had any problems.

If you have the extra money, though, I’d totally recommend eyelash extensions. They’re AMAZING!
