Hi, first time posting on weddingbee, I’ve always found all your comments on other posts so helpful!
I have ordered this wedding dress from Maggie Sottero:
and I really want this veil from etsy:
my problem is that I have no idea what length to get? Should I go for chapel, waltz or fingertip? I can’t try it on before I buy and I’m really unsure. Thanks, any advice would be really appreciated!

I would go for a fingertip veil, you dress has a lot of gorgeous details on it and a fingertip veil would only enhance not take over your dress like a chapel or cathedral length veil would. How long is a waltz veil? I am not familiar with that length.

I think it’s also called a ballerina veil – sort of mid-calf.

That dress is stunning! I would probably go for a fingertip veil. I really like the Etsy one you posted. The raw edges won’t compete with that beautiful lace.

@aussiebride26: Your dress is beautiful! I would personally go elbow length, so my vote is for fingertip! That veil is so gorgeous. 🙂

My vote would be fingertip….your dress is gorgeous!

That will be a pretty look!
I guess it really depends on what you are going for; with a fingertip veil you could easily wear it the entire reception if you wanted. It would be a lot harder to do that with a chapel veil!
I think the waltz length is a bit hard to pull off. It’s like you couldn’t commit to doing it really long or short.
The only thing I would worry about re: the chapel length is if it was long enough to either stop short of or go past the end of your train (3 inches is a typical guideline).

I voted for fingertip. I think that your dress is better complemented by the shorter veil since it has so many details
