Our rings sparkle in different ways under different lighting. I’m curious as to what you prefer. Please state the type of stone and your favorite lighting! Pics of your ring sparkling too please if you have them!! 🙂
Lighting: at night under street lights (such fun sparkle!), in my condo with light coming in from a bright blue sky (brings out white and blue hues)

Diamond… I love how it sparkles like crazy all the time, but mostly in my car.

Let me know what else to add to the poll! 😉

I think it sparkles the most in bright sunlight, though these pictures are from sunset and semi-sade respectively 🙂

I have a moissy and it sparkes soooo much in home depot and walmart haha. And in certain hallways at work.

To both of you moissanite owners: I can’t believe how much moissy sparkles, as I see on these boards! I love that they can pick up the colour around them too.
Thanks for your comments.

I actually don’t only like it when it sparkles heavily (I find it can get a bit too “disco” under spot lighting for my tastes, to be honest…fortunately that’s mainly only in my bathoom and building elevator so it’s not excessive to me) so I like my ring in all lighting! I love how it has so many different personalities depending on the lighting. I can’t say it ever disappoints!
One of my favorites is when it is like a cool calm iceburg, with only a few flashes, but very sharp, complex edges in it and clear as, well, ice…I feel like I’m in patagonia at those times and I’m going to see my breath come out because it must be freezing 😉 That’s in indirect sun.

Those small spotlights they have in jewellery stores..we have similar in our kitchen! It sparkles so much in there.

I work at a jewelry store and it definitely looks best in there. 🙂

It looks great on sunny days, (hah! 😀 ) and it also looks good in dim lighting… think like auditorium lighting before the play is about to begin, or candlelight. It REALLY sparkles like crazy for some reason when there is very little light to pick up!

@Sunnyday278: Yes, the dim lighting does something amazing to rings!
@emilygrace07: And you must have access to nice cleaners there too to keep your ring looking like new! 😉
@joya_aspera: Your description sounds so poetic…indirect sunlight can work some magic for sure

I’ve noticed that low lighting in restaurants sets my ring on fire! I don’t have any pics though. 🙁

I have a white sapphire, and I get the most sparkle out of it when I’m driving or at church–doesn’t even matter which church!

@peaches13: I recently got a white sapphire ring…I’ll have to test it in the car!
@saywhat8282: Holly gorgeous!! Love the sparkle. The size of your wedding band is perfect for your e-ring. The ribbon shank is beautiful…really love your rings!
