I’m a pretty traditional person, getting married in a church then ballroom afterwards. A chapel or cathedral length fit me perfectly and it’s what I’ve always dreamed of! I can’t wait for the pictures of it!

i went fingertip – it looked best with my dress. sounds kinda like yours a-line, sweetheart.

here is a pic

it looks long in that picture, but its just the bow on the candles. it stops right around my butt haha

I chose a fingertip veil too – I thought it had the formality and romance of longer veils, but a full-length veil felt like too much to me.  Plus I think fingertip also looks good with a lot of types of dresses because it hits across the butt and doesn’t get in the way of interesting dress details like a laced corset, interesting bustle, bodice details, etc.

I would have chosen fingertip for myself, but I’m wearing my mom’s old cathedral-length veil, and I didn’t want to shorten it in case my sister wanted it long for her wedding someday.  So it’s long, with my A-line sweetheart dress, and it looks great.

I didn’t want my veil to compete with the beading on my dress so I chose a shorter veil that didn’t cover so much beading.
