    betyl :  Teacher here also.

We are doing mid-May. I felt really strongly about an outdoor wedding, and the weather will be nice then, and flowers will be blooming. I’m a sweat-er, so summer was out!

I considered a fall wedding, but with school starting in the fall it’s already a stressful enough time of year. Doing it in May will mean I just have to finish up the school year for a few weeks, and then it’s off to the honeymoon when school gets out in June!

As an added bonus, it looks like the mid-May date will be the perfect excuse for me to get out of our annual spring state testing! Lol.

I am a special ed teacher and I wanted summer buy hubby insisted on fall.  No one can get PTO for the last two weeks/first two week of school so early September was out.  I refused a spring wedding as spring is beyond busy in SPED.

Fall was great as it is not amping up too much in October, plus my hubby was not budging on having an outdoor wedding.  We live in MN so Dec Jan Feb was out, lol!
