MemberAfter looking at everyone’s men on the photo thread, I’m curious: What makes your Fiance a good PERSON? Aside from the muscles and dimples, what made you want to MARRY him (or her)? Does he volunteer at a nursing home on Saturdays? Advocate for animal rights? Gave half this month’s salary to Haiti?
I want to hear what makes our men (or women) special, good people!
MemberHe can talk to anyone and genuinely listen to what they have to say. He also works to turn around low-performing schools for a living. Every day he is working to get children the education they deserve!
MemberHe’s just the most honest, loyal, trustworthy person I’ve ever met. He makes me laugh every day.
MemberMy fiance is so smart. He keeps up with news and politics and stuff because he really cares. He was totally serious when he applied for the police academy this week (even though he’s finishing his college degree) because he “wants to be part of something bigger,” and family members didn’t want him to join the military. He can figure out any kinda technology we need. He is extremely observant. And he uses all of this to help US out from BBQing (yum) to car stuff to work to relationships. He takes care of me when I’m sick or really tired. He listens to my rants. He has similar interests as me. He is going to make an absolutely amazing dad one day! He gets along with my family and friends, even though sometimes it’s hard. We both love watching sports together and we are both animal lovers. Everyone always tells me that I am so lucky to have him and they are totally right! 🙂
MemberIf I had to pick one quality I would say its that my fiance is a compassionate person and does everything he can to help others.
MemberI love that he is the smartest person that I know! He has a lot of ambition and drive. Went to school for 8 long years, yet I haven’t even taken a semester. I love that he is as caring about animals as I am. I also love that he thinks of others before himself. He is going to Haiti voluntarily at the end of March for a whole month! I’m sad since he will miss my birthday. However, that is tiny compared to how many people he will be helping when he is there.

MemberHe is an amazing friend to the small group of friends that he has. He really will do anything to help his friends out including lending them money, talking with them for hours, and even letting them live with us! Right now my older brother is living with us. It was FIs idea because he said he wanted to help my brother save money so he could finish his degree and get his life back on track. My brother is the 4th person to live with us and every time it was Fiance who opened up our home (and of course I agreed!) and I think its a very selfless thing he is doing!
MemberMy FH is everything I never knew I wanted and so much more. He completes my life by being everything that I’m not. Of course we have a ton of similarities, but he’s just amazing in his own way. I have never had someone who makes me feel so good about every little thing. He’s definitely a positive thinker and encourages others to look on the brighter side of a negative situation. He’s just absolutely incredible. I fall in love with him more and more every single day.

MemberHe’s definitely good for me. He’s the only man I’ve ever been with that I can be SO mad at, but just be able to look at him and smile. He’s such a caring person and doesn’t always think of JUST himself…he thinks of others too. When he smiles every problem or stress I have just rolls off of me & I’m the happiest person in the world.
He’s also a VERY VERY hard worker & will do anything he needs to do to support his family 🙂
Memberhe is smart, compassionate, kind, and funny. He cares deeply for others, is empathetic to others’ feelings, and incredibly driven to succeed at work. He puts family first and finds ways to show he loves me everyday. He’s a solid guy and a good friend.
Memberhe smart and funny as heck …a man has to make me laugh. he has a good heart and he takes care of me. mostly importantly when i met him…i was a wreck!! just out of a 3 year relationship that was bad ….he healed my heart.
MemberHe is the smartest, most real, compassionate, loving and kind person I have ever met. He never has one bad thing say about anyone (even his worst enermy). He makes me a better person that is for sure! I feel so lucky and blessed to have him in my life.
MemberThis will sound really old school, but one thing I admire about my husband is his worth ethic. He doesn’t work because he just LOVESSSS marketing. He works hard to support me and our future family. Making me feel secure and having that level of comfort is so important to him, and it just shows much compassionate he is. I was once unemployed for three months, and he told me to wait for a job I actually liked, so I did. I told him if the situation were reversed, I’d tell him the same, and his response was, “No way, I would be out the next day taking whatever combination of part-time jobs I needed to make sure you were cared for.”
I just love that man. He’s so noble 🙂
