Foundation: Everyday Minerals powder foundation
When I want fuller coverage, I use Bare Minerals Ready or their liquid foundation, and I’ll usually layer EM on top.
Concealer: Nyx Incredible Waterproof Concealer stick
I use the yellow one to combat any redness around my nose and cover undereye circles. Works great, for a “cheap” concealer!
Contouring: Bronzer and and Ben Nye Banana Powder to contour/highlight
I recently decided to bite the bullet on the Banana Powder and I’m kicking myself not trying it sooner. I apply it on the high points of my face with a blending sponge.
Mascara: Bare Minerals Lash Domination
I don’t love it, but it works well enough and it doesn’t irritate my eyes. Sometimes I’ll layer it with BM’s Volumize & Lengthen mascara (both in black). If anyone can recommend a volumizing mascara that’s gentle on sensitive eyes, I’m all ears!
Lipstick: Not a huge lipstick fan, but when I want some color, I use Jane Iredale’s lip stain in Pink or Peach, or Revlon Colorburst lip stain.
Honey is my go-to Colorburst color, as it’s very natural, but I also have a matte red and a glossy berry color that I wear sometimes. Most days, I stick chapstick and maybe a Bare Minerals Moxie gloss.
Blush: Bare Minerals Ready Blush in Indecent Proposal
It’s a solid blush in a dusty plum color, compliments olive skintones well.
Bronzer: Bare Minerals Ready Bronzer in The Deep End
It’s their darkest bronzer, with a subtle shimmer. Bronzers tend to turn orange on me, but this one doesn’t.
Brows: Anastasia Brow Wiz in Brunette
I’m obsessed, as I’m not very blessed in the eyebrow department. Nyx has a very similar version for much less $$, but I keep shelling out the cash for this one.
Eyeshadow: One of the Urban Decay Naked palletes (usually Naked 2)
Eyeliner: Bare Mineral’s Round the Clock pencil eyeliner in 8pm (black-brown color)
It’s great for sensitive eyes, and it stays put. It’s also the only one I’ve found that is a true black-brown, as most are too close to either end of the spectrum.
Primer: Laura Mercier Hydrating foundation primer
It works really and it doesn’t break out my skin. When my tube is gone, though, I’ll be investing in some Monistat anti-chafing gel!
I’ll also use Urban Decay’s setting spray (the non-matte one) on weekends or for events.
Disclaimer: I used to work for Bare Minerals, which is why I use so much of their stuff! I can’t justify buying new products when I have so much stockpiled, but I look forward to being able to branch out one day haha.
