Sometimes on weekends I won’t wear anything, but I always wear foundation and mascara to work. I’ve been wearing eyeliner almost every day lately, but that comes and goes with me. I hate blush – I’m perfectly content being pale. 😛

I find it interesting that not many ladies go for lipstick. If I only put on the bare minimum, it would be foundation, mascara, and lipstick. I try to keep it not too in-your-face though.
But my usual combo is foundation, powder, eye shadow, mascara, blush, lipstick. Occasionally a brown or gray eyeliner.

I wear foundation, powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and lip balm every day pretty much. I can do it in less than five minutes. It’s not a super made-up look, just polished. Plus I’m not a huge fan of my skin sans a little bit of foundation and powder, and mascara just makes the biggest difference with my eyes.
I wish I were one of those women who was pretty enough not to wear makeup daily, haha!

I wear foundation, blush, eye shadow, eye liner, masacara, and lipstick on a daily basis, so to the office, to the grocery store, to the mall, etc. I feel so weird without makeup!

In the summer, I almost never wear make-up. The rest of the year I wear make-up to work or when we go out.

I wear under eye concealer, powder and mascara on a daily basis. I find the powder evens out my skin tone enough without giving me the totally matte (or sometime cakey – ick!) look of foundation. I naturally have dark circles under my eyes though, and those are hard to shake!

Usually, tinted moisturizer, brow pencil and some blush. Sometimes no tinted moisturizer and just straight up sunblock and a little concealer.

Lately I have only been wearing moisturizer (which might not be considered makeup per se) and I always wear rose salve on my lips. That’s it! I’ve been not wearing makeup in an effort to keep my skin clear before the wedding and have been doing this for about three months now. 🙂

Blush. But mostly none. I’m lucky if I brush my hair.

My work environment is similar, with a lot of women not into makeup. If I wear any, it’s usually foundation used kind of as concealer, i.e. never full-face, and maybe a little blush and lip stain if I’m feeling pale.

Lip gloss and perfume, thats it. I wear make up maybe 3 times a year and even then its very little, usually light powder, mascara, a little blush and lipstick.

Foundation/power, eyeshadow, mascara.

This thread is making me wonder if I should consider trying out a more “natural” look for day-to-day. The thought makes me nervous, but I feel like it would also be so liberating!

I wear foundation/powder (I use bare minerals, so it’s both),blush, and chapstick everyday unless I’m literally not leaving the house for anything. If I’m wearing contacts, I also use mascara. If I’m wearing glasses then I don’t wear mascara because my lashes get so long that they touch the glass and it bothers the crap out of me.

It’s funny, I grew up with a mom who wears full makeup and does her hair nice every. single. day. Even days she doesn’t plan to leave the house— it is just her routine. She always bugged me to wear makeup because she thinks it makes you look put together, so in high school and college I basically never left the house without makeup on.
Then I got to law school and was surrounded by all these serious, smart, beautiful women and I was honestly SHOCKED at how few of them wore makeup. (And even more shocked that I didn’t really even notice initially that they didn’t). And I see the same thing in women lawyers, i’d say less than half wear makeup on a daily basis.
I always thought that makeup = grown up/professional. But that is really just not required or expected here it doesn’t seem.
So, I chilled out a bit about makeup. If I’m just running errands or just a normal day at work, I probably don’t wear makeup. Maybe just mascara. If I feel “doing” my makeup (maybe twice/week?) I do:
foundation, blush, bronzer, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara.
But… I think I do them in a pretty minimal way. This is me in “full makeup” for my engagement photos.
And this is me with no makeup. So not really *that* big of a difference I don’t feel like except for the mascara.
ETA: I should specify that I wear foundation but not much of it. I have freckles so I think it looks awkward to do full face heavy foundation. I wear a sheer foundation that I put just on my cheeks/under my eyes to even out my skin tone which tends to get super red at the apples of my cheeks.
