I never get a manicure, I never paint my (finger)nails, but for the sake of pictures I’m going to get a manicure for the wedding.
I don’t like the square-edge manicures, and instead will opt for an oval shape. This is my dress:
The necklace in the picture is the one I will be wearing as well- the centre stone is sapphire in colour (my “something blue”). The wedding colours are eggplant and copper.
So my question is, natural, french, or bold colourful manicure? This is what I like for the “bold”:

Personally, I’m not a fan of the french-tip look with dark or contrasting colors. I find it a bit odd and too “out there” for a wedding. But that’s just me. Plus, you’re wearing a blue necklace and your colors are eggplant and copper; that’s a lot of color to consider.
Since you’re wearing that blue sapphire necklace, I’d suggest going for a neutral beige on you nails, or a french manicure. If you go with beige, try to find a color that’s close to your skin tone. Use the dark purple on your toes!

@canarydiamond: gotta ask… what does the +1 mean? I keep seeing it and no idea what it is used for. Thanks 🙂 lol

Do something classic and simple. A french or a lite pink. That way your hands look nice but the main focus is not on your nails.

@jessiemaims: I think you should go with a french tip or neutral color. As much as I love bold colors…I don’t think your nails should distract from your beautiful gown or accessories

@realtreegal: People do it when they see a post they like/agree with. I sometimes see people do +1,000,000 or some other figure to indicate they REALLY agree lol. I am not sure if they do it on other forums or not, but I guess I picked it up since I’ve been on WB for over a year now.

@Miss Mauverick: Good point, too many colours to try to coordinate! Thanks for the neutral nail inspiration!

French all the way! You can’t go wrong, and you’ll never look back and have regrets. I also hate square. Rounded is much better!
