I’ve been on Pinterest a lot lately, getting ideas for new meals to cook for Dh & myself. It seems like we reguarly have hot dogs, chili, pizza pasta & spaghetti. But I definitely want to incorporate more yummy foods!
So, what meals do you regularly cook that you love?

I make chicken tacos all the time! Chicken breasts, a jar of salsa and a packet taco seasoning all in the crock pot for 6-8 hours and then shred. So easy and SO good!
I also make chicken enchiladas a lot but am also trying different seasonings.

Lately I’ve been on a polenta kick. We do polenta with spinach, carrots and garlic with chicken sausages.
Another favorite is vegetable pasta with a soy chorizo tomato sauce, (nice and spicey).

We also make a lot of stir fries with whatever vegetables we have onhand and either beef or chicken. Also in our regular rotation are potato soup, chicken enchiladas, mushroom stroganoff…

We regularly do pasta with veggies/pasta with sausage or shrimp and veggies, stirfries, vegetarian soups (squash, cauliflower, lentil, black bean, corn chowder), beans & rice with homemade salsa and guacamole, quesadillas, chili, curries and daals, breakfast for supper (usually huevos rancheros or eggs with refried beans and tortillas).

We have tamale casserole, teriyaki chicken, or vegetarian soups quite a bit.

Pot roast, pork tenderloin, broiled fish, hamburger helper dressed up with spices and veggies, tacos, chicken chili…
i cook a lot and big portions so my DH has food to pack for lunch.

@roweboat: we do some chicken and dumplings in the crockpot that are easy and good!! Also buffalo chicken that we use intros, potatoes or nachos…let me know if you want the recipe!

vegetarian chili and chicke fajatas are our 2 go-tos. Also, we have just started making home-made pizzas. It took a while to perfect them but now they are pretty good!

Rice (cheddar broccoli or mexican style) with cut up boneless chicken fried and a bit of sour cream or cheese. I also make this and wrap it up in tortillas.
Chili, esp. this time of year.
Chicken alfredo. I don’t make home made sauce for that I buy it in a jar. But I would love to try it sometime!
Tacos (we looooove tacos!) Or taco salad.
Chicken stir fry with red peppers, noodles and teriyaki sauce.
I also make a lot of comfort foods like mash potatoes, green beans, corn on the cob, stuffing, mac n cheese, rolls..
Also deer meat, which may sound gross but it is sort of like steak and we love it.
And for super quick easy meals I like making hamburger helper, sloppy joes or hot dogs.

In the winter, lots of soups and stews. Recently made a Turkey Noodle soup with Christmas turkey leftovers, Carrot Ginger soup, Potato Leek. Chili is a staple, make it every couple months at least, in the crock pot. Beef stew is a staple.
DH loves to stir fry, so lots of that. I also like to make hearty pasta dishes, so either a loaded meat sauce with lots of veggies, shrimp and veggies alfredo, lasagna, etc. Some random other things I make regularly are tacos or burritos, chicken parm, pulled pork. In the summer we grill pretty much every day, so grilled chicken, beef or veggie burgers, kabobs, fish, saugages or hot dogs. I always have “emergency” food in the house that takes no effort to make for those nights I am just too exhausted to cook, usually mac and cheese, ravioli or just pasta with red sauce.
When I am looking to try something new, I head over to Skinnytaste.com , it has amazing healthy recipes! Everything I have made on there and served has gotten rave reviews. A few of the recipes from there are becoming “regulars” for me, specifically the chicken rollatini’s, they are so easy and so good!

That sounds so yummy! The last time I made tacos I cut up a boneless chicken breast. Fried the chicken and added it to our taco salads and it was so good!

Actually I totally adore trying new recipes so it’s kind of rare when I cook anything regularly. It also depends on the time of year. I just came off a month long baking spree, I think I ODed on it for now. I have been making a lot of fish and seafood dishes lately, like Tilapia Parmesan, Shrimp Scampi. Stir fries, etc. I am making Philly Cheese Steaks tonight (yes, I grew up near Philly so I do know how to make a REAL one) but I am using venison instead of beef.FH has been requesting burritos so I will have to make them soon.
This Sunday will be the first of my winter Sunday dinners. When turkeys and hams are cheap, I buy several and freeze them so I can invite friends over for Sunday dinner twice a month. For this Sunday’s dinner I am making a 20lb. turkey – served with homemade cranberry relish, herb roasted new potatoes, rosemary butter rolls, grilled asparagus, corn, (one of the few veggies FH will eat!) and a spice bundt cake.
