LOL I had so much fun sitting back and reading these! It makes me feel less crazy in my own situation!  My dear, dear darling man was appalled at our $700 photographer (which, I had to do some SERIOUS wheeling and dealing to get her down from the original $1300 asking price)… but didn’t bat an eye at budgeting $500 for a wedding cake!  He has an opinion on everything and nothing all at the same time somehow.  I asked him what he wanted to wear because even though he said he’d wear whatever I wanted him to, he never quite got around to ordering that tux! He said he wanted to wear shorts and flip flops with a “nice shirt”. BAHAHAHAHA Umm. No. We compromised to nice jeans, cowboy boots, a nice shirt (hey, he got his nice shirt he wanted!!) and a black western style jacket.  Save the Dates were another one… he still doesn’t quite understand the reason behind those despite my best efforts to explain.

I’m a fairly clueless bride myself, in that, I know about the basics… two rings, the dress, booze, food and music.  The rest, I’m kind of in the dark on and have been feeling my way through with the guidance of my mom, best friend and my honey. There is one small hitch in that plan… they ALL have very different opinons on what a wedding is/should be! lol

LOL all of these posts are so funny. Silly boys. I haven’t really had any thing quite like that with my Fiance.  But when I talked to him about wearing charcoal tuxes (which would be great with our colors, for a garden wedding, and he looks great in that color) he was VERY against it. LOL Nope, he wants a traditional black tux. I just kinda giggled at his reaction and told him i would let him pick out what he wanted him and the guys to wear (he used to work at a tux shop, so he’s very opinionated in the fit and what he does and does not want LOL).
