@carrotcake2003:  Darling Husband wanted to get the best so he got platinum. He did his research and platinum is more sturdy and i wont have to gdt it dipped if we had gone with white gold

Our jeweler talked us into white gold- I really don’t like the patina that platinum gets over time.  And I have unlimited lifetime dips to keep my ring white and shiny.

My rings are platinum, but the husband’s ring is palledium! We wanted to try something different. I love my platinum!! But while Palledium is sturdy, but it scratches real easy, luckily the hubs doesn’t care.

I went with platinum for my wedding set. I dislike rhodium plating, and my hand chemistry yellows the plating really fast. Love the colour, look and weight of platinum. So happy with my choice, even though it was a premium price.

But since being part of the weddingbee, I have fallen in love with rose gold. I just loooooooooove that warm colour so very much!! So I got myself rose gold bands for my right hand, as well as stacked bands to wear when I don’t want to wear my large wedding set, which is solered together.

My engagement ring is yellow gold and our wedding rings are celtic weave in yellow for me and white gold (or platinum or palladium–still trying to figure that ou)t for him, with the opposite (white for me and yellow for him) bands on either side. If I could figure out a way to incorporate rose gold, I would, because I adore copper!
