I got white gold and have a platinum e ring like other bees have said and for the same reasons of cost, can’t tell the difference! We got mine both from costco.com.

My wedding band will also be platinum. I looked at palladium, too, but it didn’t match perfectly and I wanted the rings to be exactly the same colour. Palladium isn’t too far off though and a cheaper option if you’re not as fussy as me.
Honestly, they’re both rhodium plated so white gold and platinum will have the exact same color. As long as you consistently plate your jewelry, you will have no problem wearing white gold alongside platinum. 🙂
Best wishes!
I would still go with platinum, you’ll be wearing it for the rest of your life. If you get another metal, it will wear differently than the platinum.
Have you looked at online jewelry stores, such as Blue Nile, Eternity Diamonds, ID Jewelry, etc.?
