So, here’s an update to Fiance doesn’t want professional photos but I do! Thanks to Bees’ help with suggestions to logistics and condolences! It has helped with deciding a decent time frame for the photography package we’d like.
Over the weekend, Fiance and I had a Skype meeting with our photographer. While we agree on most of the day’s important events, we slightly disagree on the topic of photographer’s coverage on reception pictures.
What I would want covered for reception photos = additional $500.
Fiance: guest pictures are truly enough.
My take: I love candid shots of everything!
Fiance: “I can prop up my camcorder on a tripod or get one of those Zoom recorder. My dad can take good pictures.” (The Zoom, which by the way awesome for recording live performances, with high audio quality)
Me: “But I want professional pictures of our first dance! (more so than cake cutting)” — which the photographer & assistant would do, when we enter at 6 pm, then leave.
Fiance: If we’re making them stay until 8 pm, then the whole reception would feel rushed just because we want pictures taken for each programme. I want to relax when it comes to party. Do you think your brother wants to be professionally photographed for his emotional performance?
While he does make a good point, I gave Fiance a mischievious smile and said, we’ll know closer to the date!
What moments are/were your MUST HAVES for your photos? (Feel free to share pictures if your wedding has already happened. 🙂 )
