    We plan to have an outdoor ceremony, and we’ve narrowed it down to either mid-May or mid-September. We live in an area that sometimes gets hit by Atlantic hurricanes (not terribly horrible or destructive, but usually results in heavy rain and wind that you probably wouldn’t want to travel to a wedding in).  For the dates we’re looking at, the weather history says:

    May–rains about 35% of the time, but not much rain, average high of upper 70s

    September— lower chance of rain, but when it does, it pours (usually hurricanes), average high of upper 70s

    We’ll have an indoor backup no matter what, but it’d be nice to have nice weather! Which date would you choose?
