We are leaning toward October 2014, probably the 18th since it’s the day before the 2nd anniversary of when we met (and close to his birthday). I love October/the fall anyway and it will give us a year or so to plan depending on when he proposes.

I always wanted a winter wedding. For some reason, there is just something about a winter fairytale wedding….Love love love winter weddings! I ended up getting married in June though and it was terribly hot!

We want a summer wedding since I’ll be a teacher and we want a 2 year engagement to have a lot of time to plan!

@yewoo0627 I can’t explain why, but the idea of getting married in the month of May seems lovely to me. We will probably have a 10-12 month engagement.

Ummm..you know that late October IS Halloween, right?

We’ve talked about 2015 being the year. I would love a spring wedding but it would have to be March/ April depending on when the Easter holidays are. If not, it would have to be August.

@yewoo0627 the cheapest months here in NJ are January and February bc it is freezing and the weather is unpredictable. I am getting married in September bc I love the weather then and it was the perfect time for my Fiance who is in the military. We wanted either June or September. I was in a wedding last July in Long Island and it was 102 degrees and dreadful! April has a lot of rain so I would worry but May is a good month. May-October are the most expensive months here in NJ.

We’re looking at late 2014 but who knows? I don’t really care about the weather and it’s so much cheaper in the winter than the summer! We also need plenty of time to save!

I would love 27th June 2015 because it’s our anniversary falls on a saturday but if it’s another year then I’ve always fancied a winter wedding.

We got engaged in August 2012 and are planning our October 2013 wedding. I absolutely hate the summer, and Fiance hates the winter so that helped us narrow it down. Then I realized if we did it in October we could have pumpkins. It was a done deal after that!

I want a backyard wedding, so not winter, but other than that I’m pretty open… I can think of good reasons for every month from May to September… except for August. My birthday is in August and sooooo many August weddings have “ruined” my birthday! LOL I’m such a stereotypical self-centered Leo!

right? that’s exactly how I feel! haha I need to be engaged first…but im hoping its happening soon because my SO knows that I want about a year engagement and I want my wedding to be around may!

backyard wedding is one of my top choices of my wedding! Its okay you can be self centered when it comes to YOUR DAY! happy planning if you are 😀

SO and I are at this weird stage where we know we’re getting engaged this summer, so we’ve started really talking about our wedding, but were trying just bounce ideas around and not make any real decisions until we’re official.
That being said we have talked once or twice about wedding dates. Although to be fair I don’t really know how serious either of us are about them as we had split a bottle of wine…. But anyways: may 4, 2014 is one possibility (we’re huge Star Wars nerds and getting married on Star Wars day would just be so much fun!) also aug 18, that’s our anniversary, but in 2014 it falls on a Monday and I doubt that will fly with our families. So really, who knows. It will have to be a warmish month because I want a backyard wedding, and I plan on wearing a backless gown and really don’t wanna be shivering as I say my vows.

I hope to get married in April (one day, hopefully, fingers crossed lol) 😀 It’s already special to us becuase it’s our anniversary month. Plus spring can be really lovely and pleasant in England (not this year though, since it was freezing T.T)
