My birthday is towards the end of March and our wedding date was the very beginning of April.
Actually, we had originally wanted to get married in September/October, one reason being that we DIDN’T want the date too close to either of our birthdays (his birthday is in February). But that just didn’t work out (that would’ve meant we’d have had either a 6 month engagement or a 1 1/2 year one, and I didn’t like either of those options). So we ended up getting married about 10 days after my birthday because that’s the date that worked best with the venue we chose.
I don’t feel like it takes anything away from my birthday at all though. And it actually worked out because April is like OUR month now: first date in April, engaged in April, married in April. Wouldn’t change a thing!

socalgirl1689 : Both my birthday and our wedding anniversary is in April. His birthday is in June. It made for a crazy few months when we were married and in/finishing grad school because we had one celebration after the next (birthday, wedding, graduation, birthday, anniversary trip, etc.) for a couple years! lol

My birthday is May, FI’s is November, our wedding is in September. I never thought about my birthday or his when picking a wedding date.

My birthday is exactly 3 weeks before our wedding anniversary (September). We didn’t consider birthdays when picking a date, we just wanted early fall that wasn’t too chilly, and late September in MN usually calls for very good fall weather. Instead on our wedding day it was 90 degrees and humid outside!

My wedding date and birthday are 3 days apart. I didn’t think anything about my birthday when I chose my wedding date.

Our birthdays are both in the last week of April, and our wedding was August 28. There were many reasons why late August worked best for us, but mainly because we wanted October but it’s “convention month” in our city so all the hotels were extra expensive.
I think spacing them out is preferable. We used to celebrate our dating anniversary in early May, but we CHANGED it to “the first Saturday in August,” because we like spacing.😜

- Wedding: May 2015 - Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception / Courtyard Marriott Legacy Ballroom
Our wedding month is in May, my birthday is in October (this Friday, actually!) and DH’s birthday is in November. We originally wanted to get married in the fall, but decided to change it to early spring so we didn’t have to wait over a year and because our Fall schedules are so full with birthdays and holidays already! Lol, what I didn’t realize at the time was that our wedding date is so close to Mother’s Day.

My birthday is April, his is May. Our wedding date was Dec 21st because we wanted to get married on the Winter Solstice. Birthdays did not factor into it at all. We are also old enough that birthdays aren’t really a big deal anymore .

Both my bday and wedding in sept – 6 days apart!! H bday in dec.
I didn’t want them so close, but our venue only had 2 dates available, june 10 or sept 23. June it rained non-stop, so we picked sept to be safe.
I dont mind. It just guarantees a bad ass present every year B)

Darling Husband Birth month: June
My Birth month: November
Wedding month: October
My wedding and birthday are exactly 2 weeks apart, sorry husband! We didn’t even consider spacing, we wanted a fall wedding, that was the date available at our dream venue.

Our birthdays are Jan and Sept, wedding is April in the middle of those dates. We originally wanted a sept wedding but pushed it forward to the following spring to have a few months extra to save

My wedding is happening a week after my birthday, almost exactly (end of May, early June). We actually purposefully moved it back so it wouldn’t fall on my birthday. His birthday is 2 weeks after that.

Wow, so many bees got married close to their birthdays!

My birthday is in September, hubby’s birthay is in March and we got married on the 30th of October.
We really wanted to get married as close to Halloween as possible since we became a couple after a Halloween party at our school. Also we thought it would be neat to have both our anniversaries in one. Especially since we both are huge fans of this holiday:)
