  • Wedding: August 2017 - Orange County, CA

My wedding date is is early August and my birthday in late August.  We weren’t planning on having it the same month, but the number 8 is lucky for us, and now August is a doubly favorite month!

  • Wedding: December 2016

My birthday is in May, his is in April and we got married in December. Our birthdays didn’t even factor into the equation when selecting a wedding date.

My birthday month- Feb. His birthday month- Sept. wedding month- Sept.

We didn’t worry about the wedding being close to his birthday- we were looking for a time that would likely have nice weather in our area, a good time for loved ones to come out for the wedding and also good planetary alignment for woo.

I told him I got him a wife for his birthday 😉

  • Wedding: October 2017 - Sauk Valley Resort

My birthday is this coming Sunday, and our wedding is next Saturday. We knew we wanted a fall wedding, and November in Michigan is so unpredictable. It could be 65 degrees and sunny, or 20 degrees and snowing. We took the only October date our venue had available this year. Fiance has a summer birthday, but it’s just after our dating anniversary. I always tell him we’re totally even because of that.

  • Wedding: June 2017

socalgirl1689 :  DH’s Bday is April 12, my bday is May 13, My wedding date was June 23. I made sure they are at least 1 month appart.. my mother’s bday was 3 days after her wedding. The entire marriage they were bundled into one event. I said NOPE. Those are 2 distint events and Im not having them bundled together. It’s bad enouhg that mother’s day falls on my bday sometimes. And our dating aniversary is a week before my bday. I didnt want May to be one big bundled up event consisting of My bday, wedding anniversary and Mother’s day (when Im a mom) I really wanted to make sure the wedding was a different month. Initially I wanted an October wedding but we had to pick summer for family and logistical reasons.. and I didnt want July or Aug cause the chance of it being really muggy and sticky.. so June it was. Sure June also has father’s day.. but oh well.. at least Darling Husband doesnt have anything bundled with his bday lol

  • Wedding: August 2018

My birthday is at the end of August, FI’s birthday is at the beginning of September.

Our wedding is towards the beginning of August.

I didn’t consider our birthdays when choosing the wedding date. Really we had a small window of a few weeks I’d be off of school that we could get married in if we were to do it in 2018, or we’d have to wait until the end of 2019. Those few weeks I’m off of school are in August so, that’s when we’re having it! I probably would have chose June if I wasn’t in school.

Our wedding is planned for September and my birth month is in December, his in March. When we were deciding on a date, I was really aiming to have it on the same day as our 10 year anniversary, but unfortunately the venue we wanted was booked that day so we went with a week earlier than that day but still in September! 🙂

Our birthdays are in two consecutive months and then the wedding is in the third month. We didn’t care about birthdays per se but we did want something to celebrate in each month.

Mine & FI’s birthdays are in March.

Our wedding is in January.

We actually exed off our Birthday month for the wedding because we always celebrate together & it’s usually a whole week or 2… (once it was 3 lol) celebration. Our birthdays are 4 days apart so we are being selfish & chose to not have it in March or the neighboring months (Feb and April). We ultimately decided on Jan (2019) because we are having a destination wedding & thought it would be nice for us and our families get away around that time. Also Jan is typically when everyone’s PTO resets so taking time off isnt crippling.
